Title: Priest or BS

Well id ont know wich one to get up high to farm and get some money. I dont think i can use bs really because i dont have much money to ge my bs or priest any good equipts. So i thought i use priest who is better then my bs to go farm and later when i money by stuff for my bs to go up high. Or is there a way u can train a bs really without good equipts

I'd opt for the Blacksmith.

You can greed for stronger players, while sharing exp/drops.

It works out quite good, and you both benefit from it.

This is really useful mostly for nif runs however I say good luck trying to find someone your lvl willing to party with you I rather do priest where you can party with a low lvl bs to greed for you. Just make sure you have a good cast time for ME.

Since you don't have money, I recommend going with the bs. With a priest, you would need essential gears to handle niff. However, with a bs, you don't need much gears. You only need to party with a priest that has decent gears that can handle niff. Greed with a party for a while, until you saved up enough money for your priest, if you preferred to played priest class.

If my bs is strong like many otehr i would probably even take a bs but i heared bs gear is even stronger.

For the one i should party with someone els and greed or them i could do that but my bs is dieing really fast.

oh and lastly a question... bs make faster money later right?

If u want solo niff, go priest at the start.
priest gears isn't so expensive as bs solo niffing gears...
u need:
kaho
2x sting gloves
moonson muffler
eddga shoes or gargoile shoes at start
tirfing/khalizburg guard
4 drops rod or drops survivors rod with +3 dex, althought if u are really poor, then yes,
choose a bs and ask priests to greed them- profit 50:50 /swt

Well as a priest you start out as a aco first so I suggest some cheap gears that increase INT mostly as for bs not that sure.

BS would be nice if you can find a priest to party.
you can try to get eddga and mob for the priest while you greed.

well my priest is 88 and bs 74 now? and i got 3.5 mil to spend on items

wit my bs i am training at toy buts its getting slower and slower exp with my priest i try niff but die oftenlatly so dont get any exp allmsot

BS and party some priest, maybe mob with some cheap equips and try to get first eddga's if you dont have yet

hmm really try to borrow someone's eddgas without them they wont want you unless they got another mobbing

we normal stuff u buy from npc that are cheap i got a  +10 mace for 110k i think u need it and i think it was a good price.

i dont really have anything else except for the stuff i buy from armor shop in pront or the church for the priest or so...

i know i am not good at getting money7 bieng good

uhh 3,5m to spent...
well first of all get 4 drops rod(1,2m) and Apple of archer(+3 dex-400-600k)for ur priest...
save for phen clip then...
builds: ummm :( dex around 80 rest to int...
and dont forget about safety wall lv 10 and blue gems(always buy with merchant with discount lv 10 skill)
u should be doing fine at niff with that...at least 300k at day guarantee...
next step is sawing for KAHOS :-[

oh was it a good idea to buy that mace for 110k i thouht it was a good price so i bought.. that if suppose to be for  my bs i think

Yes, but I would definitely go with a priest first especially since you are more likely to be partied with other players of your lvl and strength so it becomes easier to share exp when leveling. Also they just have more effect without good mvp cards then a blacksmith.

I'd go priest, but seeing how much money you have now.....it's a bit to difficult, try getting a sader. Cheap and they're really strong in niff.

mhmm well i cant tank my bs with cader but hes not strong yet atall he needs sometraining i think himself...

i thought of tanking my bs with my priest but my priest is firstof all a bit too strong still oh but the main point is that those 2 characters are on my same account ^^

I am running on minimul gears...


I have:
+10DBxx mace
+8 Deviant Muff
+6 Disguise Adventurer suit
and all of my other gears are just gears that help up my agi n stuff and give some def... (really not the niffing gears)
All of the others cost 1m or less...

If you do this you can niff and make a very decent ammount of $. Yesterday (my first niffing day) I made atleast 3m. Not much... but its pretty decent seeing as i made less b4.

to tell you the truth... having the bare minimum of gears works.... edgas aren't 100% necessary to training in niff... they are just REALLY frigging to have and up your efficiency by alot... because you have more hp and can handle more mobs...

The trick to mobbing w/ the bare minimum like I do is having fly wings... alot of meat (i carry 2k-4k per trip), Endow helps... but isnt a nessesity (people aspersio works better), and the most important thing is when you use your bs... you must stay away from your mob while you are gathering it... that way they cannot hit you and stop you... When I do this I can stack my mob up alot... like 10+ monsters hehe. I usually dont go over that too much because I dai easier.

Bs are more efficient... and imo make more... Priests kill faster but cannot loot fast enough to make it count =[ so bs ftw. My low suckish bs might be able to make as much as some hp's who solo because I can greed.



If you wanna get all your bs gears easily I suggest making a rogue... w/ my rogue... on a FULL day off from school, I can make almost 1k cakes...

How much are those gears u listed now i only noticed teh price on teh rest of the gears that are 1 mill less but how much is that mace and muffer and stuff

+10DBxx mace  (the price rose since I bought most of it tho)

Its hard to find DBxx mace's and what I did to make it is I built It.

+10Mace ---- 200k-800k
Doppelganger Card ---- 20m-27m (when I bought Mine it was only like 16m-17m)
Baphomet ----- 15m- 17m

+8 Deviant Muffler ---- 25m-30m(I recommend +7, but no less, +7 can save you a few mill just for that extra +1defence.)

That armor I have YOU DO NOT NEED, just buy a disguise card, and put it in a CHEAP armor, trust me, you dont wanna spend like 5m for an armor, just to put disguise in it..., buy a cheapo armor, and put a diguise in it...., any armor really xD, but the one I have cost 499,999z (basically 500k)



If you wannt do this in cakes, read my cake chart: (this is how I afforded EVERY GEAR I HAVE, I took out no loans to make the cash or gear, all done on my own.)



Collect Cakes:


Rogue:
500-1000 cakes per day
+700k-2m In drops collected and sold to  npc (it really adds up)

Gears, very low priced and all made by me.
+5 3x Hurricane Gladius (+180atk)
Bloodied Shackle ball (its worth buying, and you can resell it later, but it can help in niff until you get your eddgas) +100atk (but it adds like +200dmg, which is weird)
and I used berzerk pots

Black Smith:
200-500 cakes per day
 >1m per day
(I used bs buffs for atk and speed, then I bought the doppel to help speed my caking up)

Alchemist:
>200cakes per day?






Sell cakes for 3,700z-3900z In payon/alberta/prontera, I personally prefer payon, seeing as many top tier guilds seem to meet there (10x more people used to be there back in aRO)

I guage my goals in cakes to help me know where I'm going and to rate my efficency, to help do this I price ALL my items in CAKE (lolz)


for example:

Baphomet = 15,000,000z
so I make a Cake Chart

Rogue makes:
800cakes a day, If I want to buy that bapho in 5 days, I need to make: (selling the cakes @ 3,800 ea for this example)

1,000 cakes = 3,8m
10,000 cakes = 38m


15m = approx 3947cakes.

3947 / 5 = 789 cakes a day must be made IF I want to make 15m in 5 days... so you see what I am getting at?

Wow this is awsome thx alot but i got one problem stil how are u suppose to get so many cakes per daay :( i get maybe 100 if i am lucky i think with rouge.

and the weapon for the rouge how much is it?

btw the +10 mace i bought for 110k i am happy :)

jet, the rogue wep, I have atm... it gives +180 to your atk... and I make that much cake, because I never stop to chat... I have auto steal... and I kill cakes fast...

IF you wanna buy the wep... I am currently TRYING HARD TO GET RID OF IT... to save for eddgas... if you wanna buy its 1.5m

wel in niff I am there all day, for this week... yesterday I made 3m... which was amazing to ME. but now today I might make less... or more... but I'm leveling nicely here...


OH AND DUDe... I FORGOT...

IN TF... I LIKE TO MAKE A HABIT OF OPENING THE OBB's because people rarely buy them and when you open them you're not losing any cash and sometimes I get items worth 250k+
like I got that sphynx lookin hat 1x and even binoculars... sold BOTH of them really fast.

no no... xD in a full day ... as in a full day off from school. although i play around by the end of the day xD so its not really a full .

and ya the OBB's are good if you open them.... sometimes they sux. but other times u get gears.

w/ my rogue... thats a school day so.... um.... I'd make 300-500 ish per 6hr (School) day.
w/ my other chars its all under 300 i guess.




O.B.B. = Old Blue Box
O.P.B. = Old Purple Box
O.C.A. = Old Card Album

Oh and dude... when you go to niff... you might wanna save up a cheap hg for when you go and slot it w/ myst case. that way you can get gift boxes. And if you dont have anything in your accessory slot you can get mimmic. those give also. I think i'll do that right now.

Since you mob so often you can get alot of good items. and also learn that bs skill that makes you find ores by a chance.
