Title: Ice Pick [1]?
Post by: nismo on February 13, 2008, 08:00:23 am
Just wondering if ice pick [1] exists on this server? I realize its a 0.03% drop from RSX (as shown on RMS), but I'm just curious o.o!!

 Not implemented.
RSX drops an unslotted ice pick on this server.

 Later episodes of Ro have something called socket enchanting which allows the player to create a slot within an item.
- http://irowiki.org/wiki/Socket_Enchant

 Doubt we'll be able to create most of those items even when socket enchanting comes around.
Overpowered :D

Its already discussed ,Ice pick [1] happens to be one of the possible future overpowered items. So Ice Pick[1] wont happen.

You speak without knowing. There are more items being released that would "balance" out more the power of the Ice Pick [1] with other items. Everything has a balance.

That doesnt apply to our server Warr. On an official server where MVP cards exist in a total of a single number. Stuff is balanced. A Sinx Can use an ice pick[1] but the odds of making one are low. Lastly they dont have 190 ASPd there with double daggers. Dagger sinx are normally slow 178 aspd in iRO. They dont have stuff like Ghostrings there( you may have 10-14 Ghostrings on the whole server). Thats how the balance exists. Here due to the abundance of MVP cards , we cannot possible attain Balance. A Sam Ice Pick with 190 ASPD would detoriate the emperium in less then 2 seconds. That is the main reason why certain items cannot ever happen on aRO. This includes most of LH3 MVP cards like the Howard MVP card.

As do You ;D

Icepick [1] is broken. Its a Fact. I've played on many servers with it now.

Other items like Robe of Cast [1] are Broken as well.

This includes most of LH3 MVP cards like the Howard MVP card.

The worst lhz mvp cards has to be the LK card, think about a sinx in zerk, TF crit sinx do like 900+ now it would be 1800+ and they would have like 60k hp so with something like devilling on they can take a asura, and emp breaking would be puts dont to 1-3 sec xD.

Also making a Ice pick[1] is really hard. It would take like 15 or so to get one so it really would one be avaible to the really rich, it would be like a sub-SQI weapon.

Perhaps we should start asking the GMS to implement the cards and items but not add the new ones into the shop?

The LK card also reduces MHP by 50% meaning the sinx will only have 30k HP ;)
Also the Whitesmith card is more broken since each card allows a chance to break the targets weapon and armour at 10% an 5% respectively. Imagine DDPt a mg[4] with 4 of those cards. Carnage.

Mastersmith MVP is unstackable. But regardless it'll still be broken on Anthem.

it is stackable i know this for sure. i used to run a TTHH MG and WWVV on high rates that didnt have thanatos cards or icepick[4]
W=whitesmithcard
V=valk card

That fact that you can slot 2 Mastersmiths into a weapon does not necessarily mean that the stats compound, and I'm quite sure it doesn't (or atleast on the server I play, or any well programmed server, it doesn't).

Either way the only thing that makes me lulz is that all these cards really break the SinX class. So naturally I love them. rofl.

Sniper/WS/Valk combo

I still think if we got these cards they would be edited. The same way cards like metaling and LoD were edited. (keep sniper, at least, though /gg)

Lack of cards and gear doesn't make something balanced.  If something would be to powerful if it existed in mass numbers then it was never balanced to begin with.

It does make it balanced. Reread and think on what I have said.
MVP cards are actually dropped at 0.03%. How many mvp cards would exist on the server if they were obtained by killing mvps ::)

I have got a Baphomet card dropped from Baphomet and my bro got me a Ghostring card from a ghostring once here. And an Angeling card off an OCA.

Do you realise the difference between 178 and 190 aspd btw?

You got 3 MVP cards, that’s super luckly, and 190 aspd is a God send compared 178.
