Say is the vet at the bottom of the big sakura tree in amatsu is a parody of Seishiro Sakurazuka from Tokyo Babylon? I believe the reply "can they feel pain?" is also something Subaru asks him as a child when Seishiro tells him about the fallen warriors buried under the trees to make the sakura petals pale pink instead of white.
Just curious I haven't read/seen the manga or anime in a while so I didn't know if it was just me.

You're asking if the Tree in Amatsu is a Parody of one in a Manga?
I suppose it would depend on when each one was created.
