Title: Turn Undead??
Post by: Mei-chan on February 11, 2008, 05:24:20 pm
This is confuses me lately. My friend priest dealt 20k damage to zombie prisoner. And me only 200. @_@ How can that happened?

Well, that doesn't answer my question of why turn undead could be that powerful.
oops D:
Sorry ;o;
But, yeah, here's the skill description
for chance of cast [(20*skillLVL) + Luk + Int + BaseLV + (1 - Target HP/TargetMaxHP*200]/1000% With a max of 70% chance to do holy damage equal to the current HP on an undead monster
if failed, the monster will take holy damage equal to [baseLV+ INT + 10*SkillLV]

His TU skill level/luk/int and base level could be higher than yours, or he was successful in using TU on the monster. whereas your TU failed. The damage don't really matter though. Usually when you get a success in for TU, the monster will die.

Turn undead is luck and dexterity based. Its not based on intelligence.

Basically its a very powerful attack that can either do a Instant Damage that kills any undeads, or If you fail, you do only a small amount of damage to their HP. You can also try this stuff using a another job class without Turn undead, and try to res a Undead Monster with a ygg /gg
