Title: buff with priest in city

i use my sis priest (~Sonea~) to warp my ws to niff in gonryun
of course i use some priest buffs on my ws
so i went lvling in niff, but when i check my priest again,
i saw a gm posted saying that dun spam skills in city, that he/she saw it..

so i was wondering is buffing allowed in cities?
maybe the gm which wrote the message can tell me my mistake? @_@

Sure it is allowed, let's say I THINK it's allowed.

When the GMs say not to spam skills, I think they refer to area skills like Storm Gust, Bard/Dancer songs, and so on.
If EVERY skill was disallowed in a city, I say: MUTE THE VEND SKILL SPAMMERS!!

Edit: Oh, and.. if you buff your Whitesmith, it's not called Skill Spam.

For me, Skill Spam is the use of skills which make no sense at all (at least in a city). If you buff yourself, it MAKES sense.

That's probably a public announcement. The GMs broadcast these kinda friendly messages now and then to remind people to keep to the rules, and have fun etc.

Maybe in the loading screen? Like if you're walking through a warp and loading through maps, you won't receive messages.

buffing isnt actually Skill Spamming. When u use unnessarry skills [like Storm gust lord of vermillion and bard/dancer song] which disturbs ppl.  ;D ;D

Was your priest in Pront? Because that public announcement only appears in Prontera most of the time. And yeah, buffing is allowed. I dunno about spamming smith skills because after a while it does get annoying.

i dont think is skill spamming either @.@ besides u just did for urself not like lagging anyone or making life complicated like a priest ME doing in all the town making all shine and laggy @.@ or a SW road that is reallly annoying and makes me want to /kill  the person who did that >_>

the message was in yellow
should have taken a ss T-T
hmm i guess that's ok then

You worry too much. Whenever a GM speaks, it's in yellow, like an announcement format. If you did nothing wrong, you have nothing to fear. If the GM wants to warn you; specifically you, you would've gotten a PM.

 may be its a only gonyrun gm message because someone spammed skills there. i think they said they did that once or may be that was a hunter with talkie box too. /hmm
