Title: My friend can't get on RO.

I have a friend who lives in New Zealand, and recently he has been getting alot of FTCs and the forums aren't working for him right now either.
He's tried uninstalling and reinstalling and repatching but he still gets FTC. Is it just him or is it New Zealand?

The error is most likely on his end.

Edit: Maybe something is up with his net connection.

Perhaps his firewall is blocking aRO?

It could if it was configured to block "certain" sites...

But as shane3x said, it could also be his internet connection...

Maybe you should ask him if he can play other online games.

He doesn't play anyother online games and someone suggested dyefire and that doesn't work either.

It just says "Failed to connect to server."

It's not server lag I can tell you that, if other people are able to connect in one try.

But he says it is the perfect day out right now. So must be his ISP? He can browse the internet just fine though. The site and game are the only things not working.

Ask him to install my MiniSetup and run the game using dyefire.

Bump.
It's happening again and he hasn't been able to get on for 3 days.
Except this time one of his friends in game (who is also from New Zealand) can't get on either, and there are 200km (Aprpx. 124 miles) between them.
Is New Zealand just sucky?
So is it this type of problem again?
