What gear is used and how that works in general?

Is there a reason you want to mob them to begin with? o.o

Shadow/Undead armor + devi + eddga(optional) + any tanking gear you can think of, then just spam whirlwind and one of the 2 crowd control kicks if you need to
OR
Good ol' DracPx book and just heat everything to death in a corner, though if you have the book you'd probably want to do Odin instead

Have DPAk book. My SG is lvl 82.
Im just starting out with the SG so, I am barely beginning to understand what is he about.
For the heat I must set that map as something and I rather not. I have already set as map of stars the gh prison and immediately regretted my decision. Still have 2 maps left. Gonna have to reset at some point but I herd its 500k + some runes per reset w/o fenrirs.

The reason for mobbing ancient mummy is to farm glove[1].

Other gears I have is devi/alice,gtb and other shields/some armors/celebs/kahos/sleip[0]/sr-ring/
Married my sl to sg.
Today I tried to go play SG but its a stars day (10th may) and cant go Odin or other map to set it for heat, and already wasted my stars map.
I wish to try to set other maps 1st, play a bit and reset if I need.

Besides the topic, any general advice is welcome, meanwhile I am reading SG forums.

There's better classes for Ancient Mummies, and I personally prefer stings for glove farming

You don't have to only go on the map on star days, as long as the map is saved you can use heat on any day, its just the blessing of the stars only apply on star days (or miracle mode)
Also, star maps aren't too special, I wouldn't worry about wasting the save.  Sun maps are more important for the def buff, so I would set DG or Odin as sun

if you're serious about farming anything though, you should set hatred towards that mob.  500k reset isn't that bad, but that is if you spend a good amount of time using your previous saves to make it worth while (as in more than a week of farming w/e you're farming)
