It's been years since I last played. I was here back when it was called AnimaRO. I'm patching as we speak, and I'm very excited to return to the game that really shaped my childhood. :-) Nice to meet (re-meet) you all, I am Lutey Lumi.

I'm having a bit of an issue with the patcher, actually. :-(
I run the "Patch_kRO" and get this issue:
"Failed to retrieve 2008-11-26BGM.rgz"

/omg Are you using your old client folder? Or did you do a fresh download?
I thought the client was more up to date than 2008 /wah

I just followed the steps on the download page, as this is a completely different computer than the one I had the old files on. :-/ I'm not sure what to do.

I know some people have had kRO patching troubles lately. Try repatching again, make sure you're doing it as administrator, and report back!

Are you using a firewall? (IE: Malwarebyes) Try disabling that and let us know how the patching went.

I have no idea why I didn't think to disable BOTH the firewalls I have going. I must be slow today.
So far, disabling the firewalls has gotten me past my initial problem. :-) Hopefully it's smooth sailing from here on out. Thank you so much!

I must be cursed. Both the "Patch_kRO" and "Patch_Renewal" worked, but I'm stuck on the AnesisRO Patcher. It gets to a certain point and freezes. Never moves off of "Saving Resource...". When I check on it in the task manager, it says it is not responding.
Any clue on this problem? (And sorry for being so problematic! :-o )

It's okay! That's what we're here for! I'm glad that disabling the firewalls helped! As for the "Saving Resource" message, I usually just kill the patcher's process in Task Manager and then start it up again. It should do the trick.

I did read the troubleshooting on this problem, and I tried the fixes it gave with the OptionInfo file. Nothing worked.

Kill all processes involving AnesisRO and then try again. If that doesn't work, try booting it manually without the patcher. Right now, if you can't sign in, we're probably doing maintenance for the Easter event so come back in a few hours and follow @AnesisRo on Twitter for status updates on when the server's up.
