Title: Site Issues
Post by: GM Ai on September 18, 2014, 09:59:47 am
We're still ironing out the technical difficulties with the site right now.  They're related to the web server move that finally went through.  Sorry about any trouble this may have caused over the past 24 hours or so.  Just letting you know why things are a bit buggy right now!  We're aware of the avatar/signature, download, home page, and wiki problems.  The vend browser should be fixed.

Please continue to let us know what problems you encounter so we don't miss anything!

Patcher Announcements, Avatar/Signatures, Downloads and Vend browser should all be fixed.

If you are still experiencing issues visiting the main site (www.anesisro.com (http://www.anesisro.com)), and get redirected to www.anesisro.com/defaultsite (http://www.anesisro.com/defaultsite) Please clear your browser cache to resolve this issue. You may also try another browser if you have more than one installed.

The only issue left, to the best of my knowledge, is the Wiki which I am working on now. If you find any other issues, please post them here and I will work on them as I am made aware they exist.

Voting points? You going to reset that too?
EDIT :
Voting reimburse dont seem to be working... I am not getting my points back.

I verified that bonus point reimbursement worked on the 18th right after I turned it on. First you must vote on all pages so cooldown is in effect. Then you can use the reimbursement link to restore your vote bonus to the highest it has been in the past 3 days. If you lost your bonuses more than 3 days ago it will not work so I hope you already figured it out.

My fault maybe I forgot to vote

I am having problems with the voting site.  My bonuses are all wrong.  I know that I had 800ish for the 12 hour timers, but then when it came time to vote, the timers go negative on the time.  Also when I try to reimburse with the reimbursement link, the link says that the votes have been restored to their original correct values, but when I go back the voting page the numbers are reflected properly. =/

In short I can't vote properly periodically when the timers go, and I can't reimburse my lost points at all to their proper values.  This frustrates me.

Update for Sept 21: Yeah...it's still not letting me vote correctly. I already lost one of them and couldn't restore it because of the errors...  Still not restoring the voting correctly to the proper original values.  I shouldn't have negative vote timers either.

Update for Sept. 23: Now I've lost ALL my vote bonuses even though I was able to vote on time!

Update for Sept. 25: Somehow I got 100 points for the 12 hours timers, but then I lost them all again due to negative timer issues that aren't fixed...

109, 109, 109, 109, 614, 613, 48.

those are my bonus points in order, now i know those are defintly not correct.  the only one that would be remotely high for me is the last one. and it's the lowest.

the first 4 werent even at 30

That is my voting bonuses exactly too, even though I haven't accumulated more than 50 within the last 2 years. They jumped and they're scrambled now. 109, 109, 109, 109, 614, 613, 49

On top of that, I can't vote. The timer resets every time it's off cooldown, bringing the vote bonuses up, but I don't get any ad credits. So I can't get ad credits atm, nor can I vote.

That looks very similar to my case as well with the number before: 100 something for the 12 hour timers, 600 something for the 24 hours timer, and 40-50 for the 30 hour timer.  That's exactly the stuff that's happening to me. :(

This happened after the reimbursement option got taken off, not after the webhost switch though.

Sorry about being a bit quiet there.  We've also been a bit baffled since this only seems to be affecting a few people.

If you are experiencing issues with your voting timers and bonuses, please go ahead and submit a support ticket (http://www.anesisro.com/index.php?p=support&action=new) with details about your problem and a screenshot showing your negative timers.  We'd like to investigate further.

I haven't been able to vote for 3 weeks now. I was wondering if I was the only one effected.

Is this just a problem with the one link that was changed to a 24-hour vote, or is anyone still having problems with all of your timers?  We're still looking into it.  I'm so sorry that we haven't managed to come up with anything yet.  /desp

Dunno if this has been mentioned already but the angel/devil head gears are whats making people have a cut off character cp. As long as one character wears it, your character cp will be cut off.

um first time posting in forever... and not sure if this is the correct section but gonnna post my issue anyways...

Yesterday I made a donation to the server...

Ever since, any time i go to vote (after the timer has ended) and i click on the voting center link, where the "vote here" buttons should be allo i get is a new timer.

and all the vote page options have Combo Bonus Timer.  Im missing out on some really good bonuses cause i cant vote.

Really hope theres a way we can fix this.

It's been noted as part of the voting issue that's affecting a number of accounts right now (earlier posts in topic).  We're still trying to figure out what might be causing it if it's solely on our end.  If anyone has managed to fix this on their side, that would be incredibly helpful information.

heh,  Im not impatient enough to worry too much about any time it may take for any assistance to this issues, as I'm aware that it is an ongoing issue.  I do look forward to it being fixed, and hope that the time unable to vote might be re credited but if not thats understandable as well.
Currently, the problem seems to have fixed itself but honestly i dont know for sure.  Sometimes my timers seem to restart on their own without me putting in my votes.  But most of the time it seems to run of.  *shrug

Looking forward to whatever the outcome may be.

I don't see why it's taking so long to address this issue. Web development is as easy as pie. Has Linus looked into this? If so what did he say? If he's stumped maybe I can help?

EDIT: Does anyone know what they did just before the timers happened to go negative?

Ok so b4 i jumped to any conclusions regarding looosing points, i used the reimbursment button and it claimed to reimburs me but the points STILL are not there.  Ill include some screen shots. As u can see... the points are not reimbursed.... WTF.  Someone have any advise b4 i post a support ticket?
