Hey guys. Putting up and site and forums early. As you can clearly see... Not a whole lot is different, you can still see remnants of everything that was.
So far the obvious. The game server is not ready, the game server is up and ready itself but the only people who are capable of getting to it are the staff. We're still working on a client that will be available to you all, it will convert your current client to the new client. There will also be a full installation file. I wanted it to go all at once, but I'm getting a little impatient and I don't want to keep you guys waiting too long. So you at least have a place to discuss while you wait.
Other things! There isn't a donation option, or voting at this time. This will change, and it will be done as soon as possible. Voting will come first, then donations. You'll notice things are gone or simply not working at all. We're working to fix everything we can, you guys are free to address any concerns you have. The Animus name is still on a lot of everything (in-game and out), this will transition as time goes on. Or there will be a forum moderator with a lot of time on their hands.
There will be contests/events. When we open there will be a double experience event. The Halloween event will debut when it is ready. As we are a new server we will obviously be having loading screen contests which will appear in the forums over time. I also have some other ideas for events to include more content from you guys which will be included along with the loading screens.
There will be change! I am Anesis and so can you! I want to do what I can for you, and I want to show it. Change is hard of course, but if you're willing to work with me we can make this happen. I know there is some doubt regarding what I can do for the server especially since I was absent for so long. I don't blame you for your skepticism. I'm serious about what I'm doing, or I wouldn't have stepped in at all.
So an ETA regarding the client that will allow you guys to get into the server. Soon! Super vague I know, but I will keep you updated here. Thank you guys for everything, without your input and encouragement. We never would have made it this far. Please hang in there, we're getting closer.

Good News, Everyone! Game Server UP, Installers UP, Double Exp ON!

The server is up, and you can connect! Delicious 2x EXP is waiting for you. This means the current server rates are 10x/10x/3x. Go and get it now while it's still hot! :)
But wait, how do you connect to the server?Are you a new player who hasn't played on AnimusRO before?Welcome! Great to have you here. ;D We're sure that you will enjoy your stay here. For you, installing the client is really easy! Simply go to the download page of www.anesisro.com (http://www.anesisro.com) or click on the following three links: Part 1 (http://download.anesisro.com/anesis_full_20121025.exe) Part 2 (http://download.anesisro.com/anesis_full_20121025-1.bin) Part 3 (http://download.anesisro.com/anesis_full_20121025-2.bin)
This will download three files to your computer. Please wait for all three downloads to finish (this could unfortunately take some time, depending on your internet speed, sorry. :(), then double click on part 1 (anesis_full_20121025.exe, the only executable file). This will start the installer. It is not recommended to install the game to the Program Files folder, especially if you're using Windows Vista or 7. Simply choose a folder like C:\Games\AnesisRO and you're good to go!
Assuming you already created a new ingame account on the website, you can immediately log in and enjoy the game! Just go to your start menu, and look for the AnesisRO folder, or go to your install folder and start anesispatch.exe from there.
Are you a player from AnimusRO with the most recent AnimusRO client?Welcome back! Good to see you again. :D And no problem, I will assure you, if you have an updated AnimusRO folder, it will take you not much longer than 5 minutes to reconnect you to the server. All you have to do is the following:
- Download http://download.anesisro.com/anesisinstall_tiny.exe (http://download.anesisro.com/anesisinstall_tiny.exe) and save it in your AnimusRO folder (where Animus.exe, animuspatch.exe, abdata.grf etc. are). If your antivirus software complains about this file, don't worry, it's not a virus, it's just a false alarm, so add an exception for this file to your antivirus software.
- Run anesisinstall_tiny.exe! Make sure it is in your AnimusRO folder! Let it patch.
- As soon as the button "Start Game" appears, click on it. A new patcher should open. Let it patch again.
- When the start button can be clicked, the patcher finished updating your client, and you can log in!
By the way, if you dislike the so called "window lock" setting, i.e. your screen is nearly fullscreen except for the taskbar which is still visible, go to the start menu -> AnesisRO -> Setup or to your AnesisRO folder, and look for anesissetup.exe or opensetup.exe, run it, and go to the ROExt tab. There, you can disable the "Lock Window" setting to be able to resize your window.
The patcher window will be fixed soon, so it displays all the news from the forums again. If there are any other issues with the installers, please let me know. :)

Regarding the dropped/destroyed items during Animus

Hey everyone!
If you destroyed or dropped your gear between the first announcement (October 12, 2012, 08:03:41 AM server time) and the second announcement (October 12, 2012, 01:12:17 PM server time), you are eligible to have them recovered free of charge. If you submitted a ticket when the server was Animus, and it wasn't completed, then please create a new ticket and it will be dealt with.
November 5, 2012 will be the last day that tickets can be submitted to have your items recovered at all. After this date, if you destroyed or dropped your items during that time frame, they are permanently lost.
A few additional notes about this service:
- If you vended/purchased an item during this time, the trade is not reversible.
- The item is returned to you in the original form it was in before you decided to overup it. Ex, you had a +4 Kaho before the announcment and you decided to overup it. You managed to get it to +9 and it broke going to +10. You will get a +4 Kaho back, not the +9.
There will be a post in the future in regards to the old animusRO tickets.

Start of the Pumpkin Festival!

Heyho, everyone!
First of all, there has been a problem with the current patcher. If you've already played on AnesisRO, then please download the following file, and install it into your AnesisRO (or maybe it's still called AnimusRO) folder: http://download.anesisro.com/anesis_patcherupdate.exe (http://download.anesisro.com/anesis_patcherupdate.exe)
If you are an old player from AnimusRO, but you
haven't played on AnesisRO yet (i.e. you didn't use the tiny installer from [this topic] (http://www.anesisro.com/forums/index.php?topic=118533.0)), then
don't download the above mentioned file, but follow the instructions in the topic that I just linked.
Basically, just check if there is an APatchData folder in your AnesisRO folder. If yes, just patch normally, if no, download the patcher update file! If you don't know, just install the latest conversion/mini installer on top of your current installation.
If you are a completely new player of AnesisRO, please download the full or conversion/mini installer (depending if you ever played RO on a different server). We recommend that you use the [Torrent Full Installer] (http://download.anesisro.com/AnesisRO_full20121025.torrent), it's usually the safest way to download the big files! If you are using the torrent, please seed after downloading!
If you do not install the new patcher, we cannot guarantee you that you will always have the latest updates and patches, so please install the new patcher if you are affected by it, and always patch before logging into the game!
With that being said, it's EVENT TIME~!
The weather gets worse, the temperatures fall (at least in some part of the world), the leaves drop from the trees, and the sun shows itself just rarely over the day. That means it's finally time for:
The Pumpkin Festival
There are lots of things that you can do during the Pumpkin Festival. Prontera has transformed itself into a gloomy/autumn-ly version of itself, but that's not all! Several events will be offered in different towns, and if you participate in these events, you get a Pumpkin Festival Certificate! You can use these certificates to get rewards. Most of the events you can only do a fixed number of times each day, so you should choose carefully which reward to get. Now you may ask yourself, but where, and what are the events? Patience, young padawan. I'm getting to it.
The Pumpkin Harvest

Some of you may still remember the Pumpkin Harvest minigame that was released one year ago. It's finally back, with an improved map, and a slightly more challenging gameplay! If you want to participate in the Pumpkin Harvest, go to Geffen 129,70 and talk to the Pumpkin Recruiter! You can do the minigame 5 times each day per account, and for every attempt at this minigame, you will get one certificate, so here, you can collect 5 certificates each day per account.
Trick or Treat
Halloween's just been last week, but during the Pumpkin Festival, it's still custom and practice to dress up and go from house to house to ask for candy. You will be able to trick or treat in the five towns Izlude, Rachel, Geffen, Alberta, and Niflheim. On the minimap you will see the locations of the houses where you can knock to ask for candy. But wait! You need to put on a costume first! In all of these five towns, you will find the Unhappy Mask Salesman (yes, he's unhappy because he lost one of his masks, but this is a completely different story...), and he will assist you in creating a mask that disguises you as a monster to go trick or treating! Keep in mind that for each town, you need to put on a different mask, and when using the mask, your costume will only stay for 1 minute, so better stand in front of a door, or else your mask will go to waste. In order to make it easier for you to find the Unhappy Mask Salesman, here are his locations for each town:

Mischievous Ghosts

Approximately every two hours, Mysterious Pumpkins will appear in the towns of Payon, Aldebaran, and Yuno. They are quite harmless, but among them, a few Mischievous Ghosts are hiding, disguised as a harmless pumpkin. Find the Mischievous Ghosts, and drive them out of the towns, so they stop scaring people. But be careful, they are quite swift... After 30 minutes, all of the pumpkins will disappear again for a while. You will see an announcement when they're back! For every Mischievous Ghost that you defeat, you will get 1 certificate.
Pumpkin Pies and Pumpkin Festival Rewards

If you have already been online, killing monsters, you might have noticed that sometimes, you receive an Edible Pumpkin or some Raw Dough. You can use these items to create a Powerful Pumpkin Pie that boosts your stats for a short while. To do that, bring 3 Edible Pumpkins and 1 Raw Dough to Casper, the travelling cook. You can find him in Alberta 114,71. You can only get 1 certificate each day for creating pumpkin pies, but you can create as much pies as you want.
Right next to Casper, you will find Hermann, the happy skeleton. He distributes the Pumpkin Festival rewards in return for Pumpkin Festival Certificates. Visit him to see what he offers you.

There have been sightings of an old spirit making trouble in the neighborhoo- eh, I mean in the fields south of Prontera. Not much is known about that, though, so you might want to figure it out on your own.

Hey guys! Now that we're under a new name it's time to get some new Loading Screens and RMS Banners out! =D
RMS BannersBanner for Topsites/RMS:Sizes and requirements- The dimension of the banner must 468 pixels width x 60 pixels height
- The format of the banner must be jpg, gif or png.
- Must include: AnesisRO and our rates (5x/5x/3x)

Loading Screens!Rules/Requirements:- It must be at least 1024 width x 768 height pixels. It's fine if it's larger than that, just keep in mind it may be cropped.
- Must include "AnesisRO" somewhere on the image.
- Image(s) must obviously be related to RO in some way. The images must also be appropriate. ie, no nudity, profanity, graphic content, etc.
- Original art is generally preferred. You are allowed to use official art, however, please read prize details for more information. If you use the art of someone else, you must! have permission to do so. If permission has not been granted, we will not accept your entry. (We do check!)
- Contestants may submit as many loading screens as they like. While the amount of winners that we will picked is currently undecided, each individual can only win up to 3 times. This may be reduced to 2 based on the total amount of entries, and the total amount of loading screens we decide to choose at the end.
Prizes:- Original drawn art; 30 AD Credits
- Official artwork/art from another artist; 20 AD Credits

Item Shop back up!

Hey guys!
As you can tell by the title, the item shop is back online. The following changes were made in the shop:
- Kaho price has been reduced from 80 to 60. Customized from 100 to 80.
- PCB price has been reduced from 40 to 30. Customized from 60 to 50.
- All upper headgears have been removed from the shop.
- All cards valued at 5 ads or lower have been removed from the shop.
Headgears were removed to encourage players to quest for items in-game, and to allow more control of the value of headgears in the market. Soon we will begin scripting NPCs and quests to obtain other headgears that are not questable currently, but were in the shop.
Cards were removed for a similar reason. It will allow for more control in the value of cards in the market. This will also hopefully increase the potential for other players to farm both quest ingredients and cards as a form of making zeny in-game.
As an additional note, anything that is not currently in the item shop cannot be purchased through a spend credit. So, any spend credits that come in requesting said items will be declined.
Please try to keep an open mind and remember that changes in the market usually do not happen instantly. This is simply one small step in our effort to help the market and the playerbase.
We will still possibly make some changes in the future, but when we do, we will let you guys know.

Direct Assault Leadboard!

Direct Assault now has two new leaderboard NPCs next to the Pax Imperia and Rekenber NPCs.
- You can obtain points by completing a Direct Assault match.
- The Rekenber leaderboard is located in Prontera 262,212 and will display the top 10 Rekenber players.
- The Pax Imperia leadboard is located in Prontera 51,212 and will display the top 10 Pax Imperia players.
- The DA entrance NPCs will now show individual stats for your character. It will display the following:
- Points cur: These points can be used in the upcoming DA reward shop.
- Points max: Maximum amount of points obtained through DA. The leaderboard will use these points to show top 10.
- DA Won/DA Lost: Amount of DA matches you won and lost.
- DA Crystals: Amount of times you capped the opposing crystal.
- DA Bonus Def/Atk: The amount of times you obtained the defense and attack super buffs from the crystals.
- DA Kills/Deaths: The amount of times you killed someone and died in DA.
- The DA reward NPC will be added in once the point system has been tested.~
- A Direct Assault match will start once each side has 6 members.

Pumpkin Festival Event Changes, Please Read!

Hello everyone!
As always, please use the patcher!
If you receive lots of sprite errors even after using the patcher, it is possible that you are still using an old and outdated client. In order to be able to play without missing sprite or palette errors, please download the latest full installer as that solves most of the problems! We are unable to give you technical support if you do not use the latest client.
During the maintenance, the following Pumpkin Festival event changes have been applied:
- Pumpkin Harvest:
- You are now kicked when found idle. Warping to a different maps and receiving prizes won't work anymore either.
- The Jakks all over the map will now cast less powerful spells over you.
- You don't get a Pumpkin Festival Certificate in the end anymore, instead you get one after each finished round.
- For all Pumpkin Harvest Reward Bags that are obtained after this maintenance there is now a small chance to get a Pumpkin Festival Certificate out of it.
- Due to these changes, the highscore has been reset.
- Please keep in mind that it is not ok to use multiple clients in the minigame. Should you be found doing that, or exploiting any other bugs, you will be banned from playing the minigame! The people who have been banned previously from playing are able to play again.
- Mischievous Ghosts:
- There is no point in KSing other people's Mischievous Ghosts anymore. The player who found the Mischievous Ghost after killing the Mysterious Pumpkin will always get the Pumpkin Festival Certificate if the ghost is killed no matter who killed it, unless the player is offline, not on the same map as the ghost, or found another ghost. If you find another ghost without killing the first ghost, you will not get a certificate if the first ghost is killed (unless you kill the first ghost yourself). Sounds complicated, but it's not. Think of it like that: If you find a ghost, it starts to belong to you, so no matter who kills it, you will get the certificate. You can only own one ghost at once, though, so if you find a ghost, but don't kill it, and you find another ghost, then the first ghost becomes free for all (i.e. the player killing the ghost will get the certificate), while the second ghost now belongs to you (i.e. no matter who kills the second ghost, you will get the ticket, unless one of the other rules applies).
- The Mysterious Pumpkins now spawn more frequently.
With that being said, the Pumpkin Festival will be around for two and a half more weeks, so you can take your time collecting the rewards! The event will be disabled on Sunday, December 9th.
Another change that is unrelated to the event concerns the warp portal for the Sign Quest. Clicking the fountain in Geffen to go to Geffenia will now spawn the warp portal at the coordinates 101,75 (this is the small "tower" to the upper left of the fountain):

Say NO! to /dice gambling!

Hey guys,
It's been quite apparent that there has been a sudden interest in gambling using the /dice emote, especially to the point that reports are starting to roll in.
If you decide that you want to partake in this new "game" then you are doing so at your own risk, and you might even get "scammed". If you do get "scammed" then you will not be reimbursed in any way, and no players are going to get banned...
There have been a lot of cases of players playing against each other, player A and player B. Player A challenges player B to a DUEL. Player A loses the first round, and forks over the agreed amount of zeny. Round 2, Player B wins and hands over the zeny. Round 3, Player B wins again, and Player A decides to log out instead of handing over the zeny.

Amazon Payments Up! And some other little updates~

Hey guys!
Amazon Payments is now up and fully functional! Please go to the "Support Us!" section on the main page of the website, or click HERE! (http://www.anesisro.com/index.php?p=adcredit)
As for a few other little updates:
Lag: We are aware that there is lag, and we believe it is probably being caused by our transferring and hooking up of our old item logs. There's still a bit more transferring to go, but if the lag continues after it's done, we'll investigate into other things that could be causing the lag. Ie, could be the machine, etc.
Old tickets: This ties in with the transfering of the item logs. I've had our post typed up for a while now, but we're just waiting for the item logs to be available (or almost available) before we put up the official post, since we can't process anything before May 23, 2012 without them. :/ They seem like they're getting close to being complete, so I'm hoping we can release the post within a week or two. Here's to hoping!
Other tidbits of stuff:
- Some staff members have been going through the suggestion section and trying to move things through there. Ie, moved to deline/pending/etc.
- A few of us are working on headgear quests and NPCs.
- :D

End of the Pumpkin Festival Event

Hey everyone!
As announced, today is the end of the Pumpkin Festival event. I hope everyone enjoyed it and at least got a nice hat or a Lude Pet out of it! ;) If you still have any Pumpkin Festival Certificates, the reward NPC will still be around for a while, but you won't be able to get any new certificates from now on. The Pumpkin Harvest minigame will stay as well, with its previous prizes (no certificates can be won, and no transformation potions come out of the bag, but you will be transformed into a random monster instantly).
The DOUBLE EXPERIENCE event will stay for some more time, so if you haven't taken advantage of it until now, do so, and get that lazy character up to 99! :D
The loading screens will be put in soon. Stay tuned for further awesomeness! ;)

PS: On a more personal note, sorry for my large absence during the past weeks. I have been and still am very overloaded with work in real life right now. :-X I hope that starting from at least the week after the 16th, it should become less, and you should hear from me more often then! ;)

What's the story?

I want to try to address the common problems and concerns you've been having regarding mostly everything.
I want to apologize for the lack of updates with what goes on in the server. I've been having a hard time adjusting to my new role, and since we've been getting off to such a rough start I find myself experiencing bouts of anxiety. I have zero regrets or second doubts with choosing to save what's been left. I have a lot going on in my personal life that continuously gets in the way of server related issues. Working here is a full time job, and doing that on top of another full time job can drive a person mad. You're all very important to me and though I may not post a whole lot, I'm still here. As part of my new years resolution I plan on showing more forum presence, as well as in-game. I will partition out time for you as I feel that I've been a bit of a hermit since we began. Sorry.
Amazon has frozen all transactions until they can confirm information with how we operate. This was terrible timing, and as I've been trying to work with them in getting it back up I get nothing but the same emails multiple times. I don't expect this to continue for much longer, but I really didn't want this to happen so close to Christmas. I could not predict this, nor did I imagine it would be going on for so long. This has been pretty much a choke point for getting everything else fixed. You will be informed when it is back up.
Lag! I hear you and I know how bad it is. We've been trying multiple things, but until Amazon comes back up I can't afford to make moves that would garner better results. I have plans on getting this fixed and we do intend on upgrading to a better server, as well as adding some other layers to hopefully prevent lag from being prevalent. I jumped into this head first and I went with hardware I felt would be adequate for our current size and what I could afford out of my own pocket. It was fine at first, but as you can clearly see this is no longer the case. I'm really sorry it has gotten this way. I only hope you can persevere longer.
Christmas Boxes + Events. This is another case of poor timing. We will have a mini event's in-game you will find out more soon. Xmas boxes have been improved but we obviously haven't been able to debut them until Amazon comes back up.
Anima/Anthem/Animus Tickets. This ties in to the item logs problem we've been having. For those who have been around since Anthem and before. I have a plan to make it up to you all who have been waiting for the longest time. That piece of news will make its rounds when we have the hardware to handle it.
The state of the forums. We're going to be pruning sections that are no longer used. We're still in the process of archiving times of servers passed.
Suggestions. The staff has been compiling for me a very large list of suggestions which continues to grow daily. I will be going through these once we have better footing. Some of which that can't be implemented have been declined. I also have some pretty crazy ideas myself which I will be asking you all four your input as it involves you the most.
The Wiki is currently under renovation and you will hear more of this as time goes on.

Keep on your toes, Antonio has plans to ruin this year's Christmas with the help of his corrupted elves and mutated reindeer! Santa will need all the help he can get at the spur of the moment when it comes to salvaging this Christmas.

Restricted WoE Potions

Two new potions have been created that can only be used inside the two Restricted WoE castles. The potions are both 90 minute rental items with unlimited use, but they have a small cooldown. You can obtain these potions from the Potion Master NPCs standing outside the castle warps. The Potion Master NPC will start handing out potions 30 minutes prior to WoE and will stop giving them out once WoE ends. Please test these potions during WoE and post your feedback here.

Restricted WOE event: Sunday 1/6 Noon server

Hello everyone! On Sunday January 6th at noon server time we will be having a restricted WOE event in the Trans Restricted castle Prontera 4.
Restricted WOE is MVP/SQI less WOE. Detailed information about restricted, as well as general WOE can be found here (http://www.anesisro.com/forums/index.php?topic=119104.0). WOE General Information can be found in both the Guild corner and Game Mechanics and Strategies boards.
The objective of this event is to be the guild with the castle at the end of WOE. Simple no? To sweeten the pot a bit for the guild that ends with the castle, all actively participating players will get 1 BG weapon of their choosing. The conditions of this event:
- There must be a decent amount of active players. At least 20 single cliented people and 2 guilds. There is not much of a contest without participants is there?

- There will be one weapon per winner per IP.
- The weapon will go to the character you participated on.

There has been about 5-6 new patches that were released this week. Please patch up to avoid any errors for the upcoming content. If you still get errors after patching, please download this zip file ( http://download.anesisro.com/abdatagrf.zip (http://download.anesisro.com/abdatagrf.zip) ) and extract the two files into your AnesisRO folder replacing the current files. Once you replace the two files (abserver.dat and abdata.grf), patch again before logging in.
Before you patch, please go to your data folder inside your AnesisRO folder and delete the following files:
idnum2itemdisplaynametable.txt
idnum2itemdesctable.txt
idnum2itemresnametable.txt
These 3 files overwrite anything you patch, which can cause errors on new items.

Monster Info Quest

The NPC is located in yuno,151,188. When you warp to Yuno, walk straight up to get to Professor Bill and his leaderboard. He currently gives ten quests, but 5-10 NEW quests will be added each week. There is no way to view a monster's information at the moment, but it'll be added at a later date.

Pre-Anesis tickets and how we're proceeding

Hey guys!
I know many of you have been waiting for an update as to how we've decided to proceed with handling all of the pre-Anesis tickets, so I'm going to be breaking it down as much as I possibly can, and to avoid as much confusion as possible.
As most of you may know, we had a very serious issue with backlog on the previous server. Originally, the thought had crossed our minds to start completely fresh, completely wipe old tickets, and players who had previous tickets would simply be out of luck. However, this would be completely unfair to all of the old players who have been waiting years, and would probably also cause a lot of players to turn tail and leave.
At the same time, processing every old ticket as we normally would, would simply be too time consuming, and we would be stuck in our previous slump of an endless amount of backlog tickets. So, we needed to think of an in-between that would allow us to clear old backlog in a timely manner, but also not be a complete turn-off for older players.
First and foremost, all "current" tickets will be a priority over backlog tickets. This is to help ensure that all new tickets do not become subject to backlog like they had in the past. Granted, we will still be working incredibly hard to process all past tickets.
Each ticket will generally be looked at on a case-by-case basis.
If the item recovery is simple (Ex, sold to NPC, simply on a character who is banned, traded to someone who retired) the items will be returned to you. Tickets created before January 1, 2012 will be processed with no item recovery fees.
For tickets that are more complex, (Ex, you lent an item to a friend, who in turn sold it, and the cycle continued several dozen times) players will be given a sum of ad credits based on the type of item that it was.
- SQI's, which include Belmont Whip, Artemis Bow, Djinn, Aegis Shield, Mjolnir, Suiken, Evangelist, Electric Guitar, Tome of Ymir, Staff of Magi, Nibelungen, Sherwood Bow, Twin Fang, Sleipnir[1], Megingjard, Brisingamen, and Valkyrie Helm[1] - Will be given a face value of 60 ad credits.
- Most other items will be given at a 10-20 ad credit value, which is at the discretion of the GM processing the case.
- Items that would not have been worth recovering based on the item recovery fees will not be recovered or given any ad credit. Ex, Creamy Clip
- Ad credit amounts are not negotiable, period.
The method that is taken to process the ticket is purely up to the staff member, and is also not negotiable. Please keep in mind that we will not tolerate any rudeness or disrespect in the tickets, and that continuing to show that kind of attitude may result in your ticket getting permanently locked.
Unfortunately, we will no longer have access to item logs for when the server was Aegis. So, from 03/07/07 to roughly around March-April 2010. If your ticket was created in this time period, there is a small chance that we will not be able to offer any compensation at all. However, as long as there was some work done on your ticket at all (ie, items were traced) you should be fine!
Tickets created on January 1, 2012 and after will be processed as usual to the best of our abilities. Full item recovery fees will still apply. In extreme cases, a staff member may decide they must offer an ad credit amount, however, this will be avoided at all costs.
Lost Accounts:
Similar to item recoveries, depending on the severity or age of the case, your account may not be able to be returned to you. If too much time has passed, and someone innocent is occupying the account, then the accounts cannot be returned. In this case, the staff member may offer an ad credit amount of 10-20 ad credits, pending what is on the account.
- If an account simply had 1 or 2 novices, or very low level 1-1 classes, with practically nothing on them, there will be no reimbusement.
- If there are developed Non-Trans, 10 ad credits will most likely be awarded.
- If there are Trans class(es) on the account, 20 ad credits will most likely be awarded.
Again, this is non-negotiable and amounts given are up to the staff member processing your ticket.
Banned Accounts:
If your account was banned by any staff member that is no longer on staff, then the account is not unbannable or recoverable. We have decided to respect the decisions of the previous staff members who have worked for us. Examples being if your ticket was originally being processed by Denia, Tesla, etc. If you were banned by any active staff, and had an open case, it will still be reviewed if it was not closed.
Note: This does not mean if you were banned at any point in time that you will be unbanned!! This is simply if you had an ALREADY OPEN case in pre-Anesis that was not solved or answered.
That all being said, if you had a ticket before the server switched to Anesis, please submit a brand new ticket. Please include your old ticket number inside of the ticket, and include in the body of your ticket that it is an old backlog ticket. If your old ticket was ever responded to, you should have a ticket # inside of the e-mail. These tickets will be marked under "Waiting for Investigation".
As an additional note, please do not ask Event GMs or PR for updates on your tickets. They do not handle Lost item/lost account/spend credit tickets, and will not be able to give you any additional information, updates, etc.

PVP Voting System + Daily Quest Revamp

It's finally here, a way for YOU the player to vote for your PvP Maps!

| Every month you will be given four choices for each PvP room, Non-Trans, Restricted, and Public. You will be able to vote for each. The maps you get to vote on are all randomized, and the staff has no say in which four are chosen. The nice thing is you could have Comodo's Luau for Non-Trans one month, and then have it again next month for Restricted. There will also be a preview option when you select a map so you will be able to view it before voting. :3
We have also added a few old and loved maps, as well as a few new ones. :) I hope you all like the new feature we got going on here. Be sure to comment on it as well so we can improve or fix any bugs you may find.

Night and Day Cycles

Daily Quest Revamp
- The Daily Quest NPC will now be called the Job Agency NPC
- The quests will now have a 12 hour cooldown time instead of 20 hours.
- Quests to all guild dungeon areas has been removed.
- Guild dungeon quests has been replaced with regular monsters.
- You can now randomly obtain 1 of 3 quests.
- Hunter Orion: He's out to hunt all kinds of monsters in the Ragnarok world and needs your help! He'll be waiting in Prontera to give you a job.
- Restrictions with Acolyte classes
- From level 1 to 30, all classes will be able to obtain any monster.
- From level 31 to 60, any Acolyte, Priest, Monk, High Priest, and Champions will be restricted to undead mobs.
- From level 61 to 99, all Priests and High Priests will be restricted to undead mobs.
- Fisherman Ernest: This sly fisherman is looking for Blue Fish and is paying well if you can bring him some. He'll be waiting in Brasilis.
- Manager Brian: His place in Payon is getting destroyed and he needs you to control the Mobsters inside. Be careful though, you must kill them a certain way.
- New Rewards have been added into the Vending Machine.
- All quest log entries from the old Daily Quest NPC should be deleted.

Job Agency Changes- General Changes
- The quest log now shows the proper text when you need to collect a reward.
- The Job Agency NPC will now remove your quest if you run out of time.

- A weaker Shinobi has been added to the quest. This one will not be able to teleport.

Starting today you will be able to obtain Service Tickets (http://www.anesisro.com/index.php?p=shop&action=detail&id=2178) (5 Ads) and Removal Potions (http://www.anesisro.com/index.php?p=shop&action=detail&id=2179) (2 Ads). These items can be traded, dropped, and vended.

To use these items when you're in game, just head to Prontera's Upgrade Services you will find an NPC named Gareth Morrowynd. There are currently 3 services that Gareth Morrowynd is capable of: Guild Leader Changes, Class Rollbacks, and Unslotting Services. He is located in the building near the coordinates prontera,175,187. It is to the right of the fountain in the center of Prontera.
Guild Leader Changes
For this service you will need 1 Service Ticket, you will need to be a Guild Leader, and the player you wish to become the new Guild Leader must be on line. If you are looking to switch the Guild Leadership to another character on your account you will have to do it the old fashion way, by submitting a ticket.
Class Rollbacks
This service will cost you 2 Service Tickets and it will reset your skills. When you use this service, it will show you the previous classes you can become respectively. Once you have transcended you cannot roll back to the non-transcended classes. The good news is if you did accidentally change your job to something you did not want, and are still Job Level 1 you will be able to change to the previous class for free.
Unslotting Services
This service will require 1 Service Ticket and however many Removal Potions you need. You will be able to choose what cards to remove, whether to keep the card or not, as well as whether you keep the item or not. The good news on this is you should no longer be forced to keep the card that was removed.

Hat Quest NPC
The first batch of hat quests has been released. You can find the Hat Artist NPC in the top right warp of Morocc (morocc_in,169,98). He can change the colors of the following hats: Deviruchi Hat, Mage Hat, Cute Ribbon, Drooping Cat, Beanie, and Ribbon.
Professor Bill's Revamp
The first 50 quests were added to Professor Bill. This will replace the current 25 he already had. Your score in the leaderboard will not be effected and you will start questing where you left off. Example: If you completed quest 20 on the old Bill, the new Bill will give you quest 21. The Bestiary can now be equipped. If you unequip it, you can now see monster information. If a monster has an AnesisRO special item or changed drop rate that does not match renewal's drop rate from ratemyserver.net, the Bestiary will display it.
Auto Services
Gareth Morrowynd, located at prontera,175,187, can now do Pet and Homunculus name changes. It will cost 1 Service Ticket. When you use this feature, your pet or homunculus will get the option to modify the name again but will retain its old name. Example: Your pet's name is "Dark". When you use this service, the pet's name will still be "Dark", but you can change it using the Modify button located in the Pet Info window.

Professor Bill
Professor Bill now has 125 quests! Complete each quest to add more information to the Bestiary. Each 10 quests will also give a small reward.
Item Drop Changes
- Round Buckler[1] has been added to Orc Warrior. It will give 6 DEF.
- Chain Mail[1] has been added to Soldier Skeleton and Strouf.
- Silver Guard[1] has been added to Golem, chain, and hammer wielding Goblins. It will give 5 DEF.
- Weihna[2] was removed from Orc Hero. It will be given to Phreeoni at a later time, wait for the announcements on it.
- Evil Horn now drops at a 90% drop rate from Baphomet Jr.
- Durga[1] has been added to Desert Wolf. Only Assassin Cross can use it.
- Ebone Armor[1] has been added to Khalitzburg. It will give 12 DEF and is only useable by Lord Knight and Paladins.

Drake has hidden his treasure map pieces all over the Ragnarok world! Speak to the Treasure Hunter NPC located outside Drake's ship in Treasure Island to start the quest and gain clues as to where each map piece is located in, but beware, Drake's spirit will forever guard each piece! Talk to the Treasure Hunter NPC if you need to read the next clue again.

It's finally summer!!! Time to go out into the sun and do some swimming... or if you don't like the sun just stay inside and play some AnesisRO! This summer we are releasing those long awaited hat quests. We're starting out with five today; Sheep Hat, Ramen Hat, Shining Electric Bulb Hairband, Radio Antenna, and the Icecream Hat. We have provided a screenshot of each hat, and it's starting point below. If you get lost be sure to use your quest logs to help you out. Be sure to check back every week, since this is the Hats of Summer there will be additional hat quests released weekly.

Changes to Hat Drops

The following hats do not drops from their respective mobs anymore: Nipper Crab Hairpin, Anubis Helm, Dokebi Horn[1], King Tiger Doll Hat [1], Samambaia[1], and Moonlight Flower Hat. The NPC named Doma, located at amatsu,150,166, will now give quests for these hats. The Dye Hat NPC bugs has been fixed.
Wolfchev's Lab Direct Access Quest

Wolfchev has found a way to obtain direct access to Biolabs 4! No more walking through Biolabs 1-3 and hoping a MVP isn't camping Biolab's 4 entrance. Meet him outside the Biolabs 1 entrance in order to start the quest. You need to already have access to Biolabs 4 before being able to obtain this quest.
Misc Changes
- iz_dun05 now has an exit warp.
- The location of Drake's treasure was moved.
- Kraken had 5 more skills added on.
- Kraken's Leg monster now has skills.
- Sacred Siltarae, Sacred Siltarae 2, GUSLI can no longer be dropped or sold to a NPC
- Laphine Staff now drops from Medusa. Laphine Staff effects: 15% MATK. Reduce cast time based on the refine rate of the staff. Level req: 90+.

Gwendolyn has joined Gareth Morrowynd in order to provide you players with a new service! Pussy Cat Bells can now be customized ingame! It will cost four Service Tickets to change an uncustomized Pussy Cat Bell to an existing custom sprite and one Service Ticket to change an already customized Pussy Cat Bell into another existing customization. Valkyrie Helm[1] and Lord Kaho's Horn will also be implemented at a later time.
Misc Changes
- Seiyablem in Prontera has been moved down a bit to make space for new Spend Credit NPCs.
- Potion Creation Guide ingredient lists has been fixed.
- Cursed Water now has a status icon.
- LH4 mini boss monsters will now have an aura.

These can be traded in to obtain MVP gears, such as Salvage Cape and Guillotine Katar. Complete any of the 13 quests this instance gives to get extra Warrior's Will. You can speak to Wolfchev standing outside the Biolabs 1 entrance to get your quest rewards and redeem MVP gears. What are you waiting for!?!

Faction Dungeons
Faction spies have been captured and are being held in jail! You can use the Pax Entrance NPC or Rek Entrance NPC located in Prontera in order to access this dungeon. Your faction must have control of Prontera and you cannot enter the dungeon while War of Prontera is active. These spies drop various pet foods along with Royal and Imperial gears.
Mainchat Permabans
In light of recent events we're reminding everyone that this is a possibility. Continued Mainchat misuse will not only lead to possible temp bans but also a permanent bans from mainchat. A Mainchat ban leads to not being able to use or read mainchat on the offending account. Faction War Event!
Ready your swords and take over Prontera! From now until September 4, 2013's maintenance, all mobs inside pax_dun01 and rek_dun01 will give 1 point per kill and the MVP will give 100 points per kill. This is a server wide team event only open to players who kill in the two dungeons. The top 5 players in the winning faction will obtain an exclusive reward. The winning faction's dungeon will get an exp and item drop boost along with a pet egg drops from September 4th until October 2nd. You can use the Pax Entrance NPC or Rek Entrance NPC located in Prontera in order to access these dungeons. Your faction must have control of Prontera and you cannot enter the dungeon while War of Prontera is active. When the winning faction is decided, the Faction Resetter NPC will be disabled so the losing side cannot switch sides while the reward is active. I will post the total score in each announcement from now on. There will NOT be a player leaderboard made.
Misc Changes
- Players will be warped out of Faction Dungeons whenever a Prontera War starts.
- The warp from inside Prontera castle to Prontera will now send the players near the fountain.
- Rekenber gears has been name changed from Royal to Corporate.
- Faction MVP mob names were fixed.
- The HP, Stalker, and LK faction guardians were removed from the right/left side of Prontera.
- Guardians were placed on the boats inside Direct Assault.
- Leak can now use Magic Mirror.
- Leak now has an MVP Leaderboard.
- Pizza Hat weight and description has been fixed.
- Battlefield Textbook now has the text "Impossible to refine this item."
- Farvir duplicate Warp Girl has been removed.
- Boitata exp has been increased.
- The warp portal going from Manuk and Splendide to their respective fields have been removed and replaced with Camp Guards.
- The Quest Checker NPC now has the following three quests: Pursuing Rayan Moore, Tripatriate Union's Feud Quest, New Surroundings Quest

Faction Changes
- A bug where two MVPs spawned in each faction dungeon was fixed.
- Assassin Cross and Stalker faction mobs will now show the MVP sign upon killing them.
- Cendrawasih and Hillslion food are now tradeable.
- The Pax ninja is now a mini boss. A gunslinger was added to the Rekenber dungeon and is also a mini boss. Mini bosses give 20 points a kill.
- A normal Paladin mob was added to the Pax dungeon.
- Most NPC_* skills were removed from faction mobs (this includes NPC_POWERUP).
- The VIT on most mobs has been reduced to 30.
- Faction mobs now match the element of their respective SQIs with the exception of Lord Knight and Paladin mobs. Both of these will be ghost.

1. c) Events
Do not interfere with any events the GMs are hosting or disrupt a Prontera War with malicious intent.
- We reserve the right to mute any character who interferes with any of the GM-hosted events or uses underhanded tactics to disrupt and give an unfair advantage/disadvantage to either faction during the Prontera Wars. This includes, BUT IS NOT LIMITED TO:
- Using an unfactioned support class to continually give heals/buffs/etc. to players and/or NPCs involved in the Prontera Wars.
- Using an unfactioned character to plant traps for players and/or NPCs involved in the Prontera Wars to slow down/stop them from properly attacking/defending.
- Using a factioned character to lure NPCs of the opposite faction away from their goal and/or keeping them away so that the other faction cannot find it, thus being unable to kill it and properly end the war in their defense. Example:
A Player supports Rekenber. The Player makes one of his/her characters join Pax Imperia so that during a war that Pax Imperia must defend their crystal during a Prontera War, the Player may lure one of the Rekenber NPCs away from the heat of battle, thus giving other Rekenber members/NPCs more time to destroy Pax Imperia's crystal. - Using Land Protector during a Warp Roulette event to put a stop to the warps.
- If we notice any other disturbing interferences (that are not currently listed here), we reserve the right to mute any characters, accounts, etc. Continuous offenses will result in temp. bans, and, if it continues to occur, perma-bans.
Also, as a reminder:
In-game exploits will not be tolerated! it would be greatly appreciated, that if you are aware of someone exploiting a bug or mechanic of any kind, do not hesitate to bring this to our attention.
Exploiting bugs or mechanics that result in the gain of large quantities of zeny or items, or disrupting the server will result in a ban. Reporting a bug of this nature will result in a reward.

- You must have 250 or more points on your character when the event ends to be able to enter faction dungeons when the drop rate and experience point bonus gets implemented.
- A new reward system will be used which will be announced in a future announcement for this event.
- An announcement will be made showing the total event score of both sides after each Faction War ends.
- The Lord Knight and Paladin mobs now have 30 VIT.
- The Ninja mini boss will no longer use Final Strike.
- Creator mobs will now use Mammonite instead of Demonstration.
- Sniper mobs will no longer use Teleport.
- Sniper mob skills has been given a greater skill delay time. Sniper mobs will also spawn less traps.
- High Priest Assumptio skill has been removed.
- Assassin Cross MVP now uses Enchant Deadly Poison.
- Lord Knight will no longer use Berserk
Misc Changes
- The warp from inside Prontera castle to Prontera will now send the players near the Warp Girl NPC area.
- The Rogue Guild map loot drop has been disabled. The Rogue Quest has been enabled.
- The Warp Clips have been put back to normal.
- You must unequip the following before being able to use the Stat/Skill Resetter NPC: Bestiary, Kafra Clip, Lab Access Card, Warp Clip Minor, Warp Clip Major, and Warp Clip Elite
- Lab Access Card will now ask you if you want to be teleported to Bio Laboratory F4.
- Bruce NPC from the Novice Grounds now say www.anesisro.com (http://www.anesisro.com) instead of www.animusro.com (http://www.animusro.com)
- The Wolfchev NPC located inside the Instance will check to see which MVP was killed and force your quest to be complete if you were somehow off screen when the MVP died.
- The dead cell issue in LH4 has been refixed.

El Dicastes & Scaraba Hole!
Head on over and talk to the Entrance Manager NPC (located in manuk,321,182) in order to enter Scaraba Hole and the new town El Dicastes! You must have the item Ring of the Ancient Wise King and have completed the quests Sapha's Visit and Doha's Secret Orders in order to enter Scaraba Hole F2. If you can gain access, a new challenger awaits you! For a bigger challenge, enter the Nightmare mode - Scaraba Hole F3 and face the super buffed Golden Scarabas!

Mora, Bifrost and Hazy Forest Maze!
You can access the Bifrost Field warp through the top right of Splendide. The Hazy Forest Maze has been changed into a regular dungeon instead of an instance. You can walk through this maze in order to reach the city of Mora. All Nydhogg's Memory located inside the Hazy Forest Maze have a low chance to drop Mysterious Seed, which can be used on the Mysterious Flower NPC to warp you from bif_fild01 to bif_fild02.

It's been almost a whole year since our reincarnation, so we are overdue for some fresh, new loading screens!
This contest is scheduled to end on
October 16, 2013, giving you a little over one month to create your vision!
Seasonal and holiday themed entries will be especially appreciated, but you may use whatever theme you like.
Contest Rules- Entries must be at least 1024(width) x 768(height) pixels. Larger is fine, but please note that cropping may occur.
- Please submit images in either .PNG or .JPG format. .BMP files tend to get too large, and .GIF is not recommended.
- All loading screens must be marked with our server name, "AnesisRO," somewhere in the image.
- Entries must be work safe and must be related to RO. All entries are subject to the AnesisRO Forum Posting Rules. (http://www.anesisro.com/forums/index.php?topic=5.0)
- If you use someone else's fan art in your entry, you absolutely MUST have permission to do so!

Trick-or-Treating, Mysterious Pumpkins, Old Cobby's Spirit and the Pumpkin Harvest minigame are back, and the traveling cook Casper is ready to make some more pumpkin pie! The Pumpkin Festival Rewards NPC has also returned as an alternative means to get one of the two new Halloween items this year.

Santa's Christmas Donuts
Christmas time is upon us!
Santa Claus, the big man in red himself, seems to be doing well this time around... more so than ever before! He definitely won't need your help to save Christmas this year—but making sure everything is right and ready for his annual Christmas romp is tough work...
Talk to Santa to see if there's anything you can do for him this Christmas in this incredibly silly quest! Feel the Spirit of Giving upon you!
You can find Santa Claus at his home in Lutie in the building at 145, 240, directly south of the Toy Factory entrance.
This quest currently requires the Finding the Moving Island quest in order to be completed. Moscovia memos and Warp Portal will not bring you to the correct map to find Mishka. If you completed the Finding the Moving Island quest for Moscovia access before the switch to eAthena and find that the quest is not working for you, please submit a support ticket (http://www.anesisro.com/index.php?p=support) in order to fix this bug. This issue does not affect anyone who has completed the quest after the eAthena switch or is currently in the process of completing it.
This quest also requires:

An eerie sound can be heard from within the castles of Rune Midgard...
Rune Midgard scientists were dispatched to investigate the strange sound, only to find dimensional cracks that lead to an alternate plane of existence deep within the castle. Always curious about paranormal phenomena, the Cat Hand Agents have offered to help maintain the dimensional cracks which lead to what is now known as the Hall of Abyss.
After heated debate between the Rune-Midgarts Kingdom and Cat Hand Agents, it was decided that the Hall of Abyss will only be open to castles with exceptionally high economy.

Due to the structure of our WoE schedule, AnesisRO's Halls of the Abyss investment system has been modified to work in the following way:
Castle and Guardian Economy < 50
- Only the first floor of the guild dungeon is available.
- Only the guild that owns the castle may enter the first floor of the guild dungeon.
Castle and Guardian Economy 50–89
- The guild that owns the castle may now enter the second floor of the guild dungeon.
- First floor access is extended to the public for an entrance fee of 50 000 zeny.
Castle and Guardian Economy > 90
- Connection to the Hall of Abyss will be complete.
- The guild that owns the castle may now exclusively enter the realm's Hall of Abyss.
- Second floor access is extended to the public for an entrance fee of 150 000 zeny.
To enter a guild dungeon, speak to one of the Dungeon Masters listed above. If your guild does not currently own that realm's castle, you will be required to pay an entrance fee (but you will be compensated with one Thanks Ticket for every 50 000 zeny you spend). Thanks Tickets can be redeemed at the Thanks Ticket Machine located near each Dungeon Master. Guild members may access the dungeon for free, but you will not receive a ticket unless you choose to pay the entrance fee. Please be aware that guild vs guild combat has been enabled in guild dungeon maps.
Rewards
Numerous new items await in the dungeons! 17 Vellum weapons and the Mental Destroyer may be found deep within the guild dungeons, and there is a chance to receive one of 8 Siege armor pieces inside the Thanks Ticket Machine's Black Paw Jelly Bag! Here are just a few examples of things you may find:

If refined to +6 or higher, increases damage of Mammonite and Bowling Bash by 80%.

Happy Valentine's (and Singles Awareness) Day from AnesisRO!
Spring is still a month away, but love is already in the air! Adventurers all across Midgard have laid down their weapons in order to exchange flowers, chocolates, cards, and other romantic gifts. Many monsters have stopped attacking in hopes that stray adventurers will listen to their woes and help them find companions this year. Why, even Pax Imperia and Rekenber Corporation have set aside their differences and embraced romance thanks to the Power of Love!!

Lately, some of Payon's citizens have noticed an intense, unsettling feeling looming over their town and are worried that Payon Cave's curse may be spreading. A handful of other citizens have already issued requests for adventurers to investigate and remove the source of the disturbance. Although none of them have offered any rewards, rumors about the phenomenon have attracted a reluctantly curious bard who seems to possess a unique memento:

Lord Kaho's Horn can now be made ingame by accessing Valhalla! You will be able to make regular Kahos, Blank Kahos, and Valkyrie's Kahos along with getting the option to name them!~ If you would like to see any other sprite added to the NPC, please post it here.
Named Kahos cannot be customized at a later time. They will lose their name in the process. If you ticket a named Kaho you will have to acknowledged this.

Misc Changes:
- A new SQI Arena has been implemented.

- Mad Eclipse has been slightly weakened.
- A warp has been added to be able to exit Eastrelund.
- Eastrelund epic quest reward has been greatly increased.
- Teleporting is no longer allowed in 1@eastre.
- Easter related mobs no longer spawn in Prontera.
- Nameless seed coordinates moved to: 102, 289 (Middle of large farm)
- Reimbursement NPC has been created near Easter Bunny - Gives updated reward to players who already completed quest
- All 4 Eastrelund portals open at the hour, and close 15 minutes after the hour, every hour
- Portal opening/closing announcements have been removed
Update: The custom Kahos options were added back in on June 10, 2014.

Hello, hello! In spirit of Official RO, we'll be launching our own SPOTLIGHT! This monthly event is designed to try and bring visitors back to these lonely maps by boosting rates. This includes monster spawn, exp, drops and quest and mini-game rewards/exp.
To coordinate with the Spotlight, we'll be releasing gear sets in the item shop that may be helpful to those just starting the dungeons. The gear sets are located in the Misc section of the Item Shop.
This month's area Spotlight is HUGEL!
Introduced in Episode 10.4, Hugel is located in the far north east of the Schwarzvald Republic; a small rural coastal village that is quiet, yet festive. It hosts a variety of games and activities for tourists, a quaint little chapel for outdoor weddings, and is home to the Hunter Guild. If you have friends handy, the Bingo hall in the top left allows a group of 5 players to play, and the monster races take place in the bottom left corner of town. If you prefer to solo, there are a smattering of quests and headgear npcs, both official and custom, spread throughout that are available for your perusal. Those interested in adventuring can take a short boat trip from the eastern docks to Angrboda Island, where the remains of the great Odin's Temple stands. Abyss Lake and Thanatos Tower are also only a few maps away.

ABYSS LAKE
Travelers can find Abyss Lake in the northern part of Schwartzvald Republic. The lake's clear, pristine waters seem to run endlessly into the earth, and no one is sure of the water's actual depth. A small island lies in the center of Abyss Lake, covered with dark, earthen rocks that appear purposefully arranged, almost as if to obscure something...
Please note: You will need to complete the Abyss Lake Dungeon Entrance Quest in order to access this.

THANATOS TOWER
Aside from scarce historical documentation and spoken legends, very little is known about the tower's origin. The most widely accepted theory is that the tower was built to honor the legendary magic wielding swordsman Thanatos' victory over Demon King Morroc.
Interested in extracting its secrets, Rekenber Corporation has restored the tower's lowest floors and has opened them to the public, charging admission to tourists to fund their continuing renovation efforts.
Please Note: There is a party requirement of 5 or more for Level 3 and up. To access Level 7 and up, you need to be Trans class or Level 95 Non-trans. Thanatos MVP is also only summoned by completing the Thanatos Tower Quest.

ODIN’S SHRINE
The Odin Temple was built ages ago by an ancient civilization who worshipped the god of lightning. They gave everything they could to make sure the temple was perfect, culminating in a massive structure that spanned almost the entire island. However, their devotion and loyalty was all in vain when civil war broke out between the various leaders who vied for the favor of Odin. Soon enough, destruction and death came as the warring factions nearly wiped each other out, leaving only ghosts to stand guard to the greatest secrets of Odin.
Please note: To access this map, you'll need to talk to the NPC at Hugel (209,109) and select "Sure!" to pay 800z for transportation.

Geffen, the City of Magic, is located in the westernmost part of the Rune-Midgarts Kingdom. It has remained unchanging in the face of time. The Magic Academy looms silently at the center of town, the seals on the ancient kingdom of Alfheim still in place to this day. To the south lies the Orc and Goblin Villages, and southwest is the Kordt Forest where the Kobolds dwell.

Must read. Don't get scammed!

This is a re-reminder that everyone needs to be wary of suspicious activity. Staff members will NEVER:
- Contact you with real characters
- Request you enter a chat bubble, we will PM you if we need to talk to you
- Ask for any personal or account information outside of the ticketing system
- As you to go to a secondary chat program such as Facebook, AIM, Skype, so on.
If you cannot see the GM character speaking to you and find this suspicious in any way. It is in your right to request to see the GM or talk to the GM via forum or ticketing system as proof of who we are. Better safe than sorry, we will not take offense to this. AGAIN: we will never ask for personal information or account information in anything but a ticket.
Here is some fun facts that seem to entrap people even though the information is 100% false:
- We DO NOT get paid. If someone standing as a GM asks you to send them money so they can confirm your credit or ask for a credit card number. it is a scam We have our own donation system, we like it, it is the only thing we use.
- We do not pluck random players out of the pool to become GM's. We have hire sessions that are done 100% through the forums. IF we for some reason hire someone outside of this it certainly would not be done in game or over skype. It would be 100% through forums where you can clearly see our staff identities on our profile.
- We will never ask you to log out or not login for a certain time or ask for account information outside of ticketing needs. If you don't have a spend credit open, or a pending issue with a GM open then we don't ask for these things. [There are exceptions to this, however since we have the ability to kick people from their accounts if we really wanted on your account it would be done]
- All staff members are in the guild [Anesis Staff] if someone not in this guild is pretending to be a GM report them immediately.
One exception being ones wearing the GM uniform. If you see a guild named [Anesis stuff] report it immediately.

If someone isn't listed as being in a chat bubble, they're not in that chat bubble. If you see someone talking that is not listed in the people in the chat, you're being set up. As exampled by the picture, this is suspicious and should not be trusted. If you see people in a chatroom like this and a GM speaking report it immediately and do not give the "gm" any information or follow their requests to go to another program. |

If someone does something illegal/bannable on your account, because you shared information with them, you're still held liable.

"But GM They need my information for ticketing reasons" [item transfer, character transfer, ext] You're 100% free to and encouraged to submit separate tickets for the information, just reference eachothers tickets by number or name and we'll handle it.

If someone blinks funny it is encouraged to take SS of the situation. It is always encouraged to SS trades of any level. It is always encouraged to SS the characters names that seem suspicious [if possible], if anything write their name down exactly as it appears so we can still find it. Take note of characters classes, colors, so on as in some cases this can be vital information.
It is highly encouraged that everyone changes passwords every so often, even now since we're telling you it's a good idea. If anyone at any time knew your password change it.
