Hello, I'm RabidChicken and I'm looking for a low rate RO server and end up being here. I'm currently downloading it. I think it is already a decade since the last time I played RO and I can't remember anything lol.

So how big is the population here? And the economy as well?

The population here is around 100-150 with merchants all hours of the day.  Economy is more vet focused so everything is fairly expensive, but a lot of people have random gear in their kafra that they might just give away.  There are also a decent number of ways to make money, especially with the spotlight maps like Scott said.  Make sure to use main chat if you need any help in game or have any questions.

Also, make sure to check these places

Voting (http://www.anesisro.com/index.php?p=vote): Supports the server and gets you some shop credits

Wiki (http://www.anesisro.com/wiki/index.php/Main_Page): Not entirely up to date but helpful for information

New Player Guide (http://www.anesisro.com/forums/index.php?topic=121136.0): Very useful set of beginner quests that will help you get started

New Player Market (http://www.anesisro.com/forums/index.php?topic=122357.0): Something I'm trying to start to help the new players in this economy

Also note that there is a Vendor Browser on the top tab of the aRO website, you can search for items in ALL the shops on the server

Here's a crude list of some custom content:

• PvP map voting

World/Quests
Either just information or actually complete it

• Complete a Daily Quest
• Kill an MvP together (from a list of easy MvPs?)
• Onward to the New World
• Kill something from Spotlight map
• Hats of Summer
• Mid gear NPCs (pront/hugel)
• Platinum Skill/Rental/Ex-Stylist NPCs
• Custom boosted maps (Church/High Orcs/Anubis/Spores)
• Professor Bill
• Bloody Branch room
• Drake's treasure
• Bibalan Island Quests (do people do those?)
• SQI Arena, and how to get seals
