Isn't the Rekenber Corporation evil? I've heard you guys want to take over the world.
No. Neither side is evil, and anyone from Pax Imperia who says that Rekenber is evil either misunderstands Rekenber Corporation's intentions or is trying to manipulate you into joining their side of the fight for incorrect reasons.
Our current version of the Rekenber Corporation was reformed by Director General Sky, who has managed to remove the former Rekenber executives from power. However, due to Rekenber's past involvement with the Biolabs (before Sky's current leadership), leftover research notes, dubious reputation, and refusal to meet certain demands from the three nations regarding these issues, the alliance of Pax Imperia was formed specifically to destroy Rekenber. Pax Imperia believes that Rekenber plans to try to create a super army to take over the world.
Because Rekenber's research has greatly improved our lives through the development of a wide variety of products, such as various medicines, attack speed potions, and investments in robotics and Guardian technology with K.H. Corporation, many of us are fighting against Pax Imperia to keep Rekenber alive and to defend Rekenber's reputation.

I like Rekenber, but I prefer Pax Imperia's Direct Assault rewards. What should I do?
It's up to you, but you keep your Direct Assault points when you change factions. This means you could technically play in DA for Rekenber but switch to Pax Imperia to buy their Direct Assault rewards.
How do I change or leave my faction?
If you'd like to leave your current faction, talk to the Faction Informant at 117, 186 behind the job/stylist support NPC building near the center of Prontera. He will let you leave your faction if you give him:
2 Poring Cards OR
2 Fabre Cards OR
2 Rocker Cards

Assault on Prontera
To help us fight Pax Imperia's oppression, talk to the Rekenber Corp Commander at 268, 204 near the east Prontera gate and select "I want to join your cause!"

Afterward, you may speak to the commander again and select "When will we fight?" to see how long you must wait until the next fight. The commander also lets you change your Save Point, gives free heals, and offers a repair service. You can also ask him questions to get a little more information about the war.
Battle Conduct
- Do not use any non-Rekenber characters during the fight.
- Please don't "spawn camp." AFK/dual-client characters are fine to kill, but do not kill freshly respawned characters who are trying to get back into the action. Try to keep the battle south of the Heart of Guardian (crystal) but north of the Alchemist/Blacksmith NPCs.
- Do not shove factioned players into the portal north of Prontera.
- Please do not try to camp the attacking NPCs' spawn area in order to kill them before they start moving.
- If you find a strange strategy that seems really cheap, please ask first so we can come to some sort of consensus about whether it's too dirty for us.
- Whether we win or lose an assault, please try to be a good sport.

The goal when attacking is to destroy the enemy's Heart of Guardian (crystal) at the top of Prontera. High Wizard Barrier Summoners will need to be defeated to remove the walls blocking our path to the crystal. Beware of devastating Earthquake attacks from the enemy Lord Knight, and try to protect our NPCs as they make their way to the crystal. If all of our NPCs are defeated before we destroy the crystal, our attack will fail.
The goal when defending is to defeat all of the enemy's NPCs before our crystal is destroyed. Friendly NPCs and team mates are red, while enemy NPCs and players are blue. The enemy attack will succeed if they break our defenses and destroy our crystal before we defeat all of their NPCs. Protect the crystal at all costs!
When the battle is over, a message will announce who won that fight and the current scores. If we won, we will have control of Prontera and access to the Rekenber Dungeon.

Direct Assault
(needs lots of revision ermaglahb I don't remember enough of it ><)
Direct Assault is a special version of PvP that requires 6 players from each faction to start. The objective is to destroy Pax Imperia's crystal before they destroy ours. To start a match, speak to the Rek Entrance NPC at 269, 212 (north of the Rekenber Corp Commander) and choose Join Direct Assault. Once each side has 6 players, the match will begin.
At the start of the match, you will be given 300 Direct Assault coins (??) and allotted 3(??) minutes to buy supplies from the NPCs on the boat, buff up, and otherwise prepare for the attack. The Repairman will only accept Direct Assault coins, so be sure to leave a few coins in case of emergency. Coins can be spent on the following items and services:

Blue Potion
Regen Potion
SP Regen Potion
Healing Potion

After 3 minutes have passed, the barricades will drop and you will be able to leave the ship into the rest of the Izlude map. You should see our crystal on the way towards Pax Imperia's crystal located at the top of the map (coordinates plz). Their crystal must break before ours does. The first side to break the enemy's crystal 3 (5??) times wins 10 points at the end of the match. The losing side will still earn 5 points for participation.

That is the minimum bonus we can safely assume Pax received, but this could be as high as 15,000ish bonus points (though rather unlikely unless Pax stayed over 1000 points behind and only reached this higher number during 1-2 big dungeon runs at the end). Both extremes are unlikely.

Don't know if the two teams stayed within 1000 points of each other, flip-flopped the lead evenly, etc. If one side kept ahead by over 1000 points for most of this time period (more than the other), then there were bonus points involved, but yeah. Can't determine anything with this update.

The bonus point system has been removed.
54,013 Pax Imperia - Rekenber 62,286
~4000-6000 bonus points, as Rekenber jumped at the introduction of the point updates.
That suggests anywhere from roughly 10,000~24,000 free points.
Now, the most recent 26,000 points, yes. That is Pax working as hard(?) as Slurpy has been for Rekenber. The fact that Pax could do this quickly says that Pax wasn't even trying before and was being rewarded for it. I'm fine with handicaps when teams are actually unfairly unbalanced in terms of power and numbers, but not when they are relatively equal but only have different levels of motivation.

I wish they could do something about the horrendous targeting system. Items and players shouldn't take precedence over enemies. If the enemy overlaps with a player, using Shift + Click doesn't even work >.>
Also the auto-follow stinks.
But I have a feeling these are unfixable/not going to be changed/etc.

I don't know if the person(s) in question check this thread, but hey... we were playing a silly fight that round because of our low attendance. Yes, the break was going to be quick, and yes, that makes spawn camping look more... uh... pointless and excessive (and on our part, maybe someone took "don't worry about this fight, just have fun with it" too far). I understand it's frustrating not being able to join in on silliness due to spawn camping, but we should try to show that we're above stirring up drama.
I don't think there is anything wrong with changing factions if you don't have any friends in your current faction, so try not to interpret or use that as if it's actually an insult. The option to change factions is deliberately available. I would honestly like if more of my friends who aren't concerned with the faction story would change factions to join me, but it's just a game. I've never understood the whole "guild-hopping" issue if the player isn't intentionally trying to be elitist or rub it in the previous guild's faces (... don't rub faction changes in the other faction's faces - that's just not cool). Sometimes you just want to play with different teams for a change.
I'm not going to name names, but please be considerate. I know someone has done something like that before in main. :(
Anyway, as long as we continue to collect points when we have the dungeon, one loss on defense is not an issue. Slurpy and I could really use some more help with collecting points, but I'd like to thank everyone I've seen in there over the past few days (and weeks). Every point really helps. Also, thanks for the stunning, sometimes downright beautiful defenses lately. Several of us have been very pleasantly surprised by them. I'd like to do that more.

Well, spawn camping is a cheap strategy. And I think I read somewhere that players can't spawn camp? I remember clearly the IGNs though. Maybe I should spawn camp and shoot their ass with fully buff and bragi and loki and shit and watch them QQ.

That post was about someone who got upset with spawn camping that fight, and that led up to a little bit of main chat drama after another person called that person out for switching factions. I'm not going to say specifically which side did what, but let's please not bitterly insult players who leave our own factions for "faction hopping" yet embrace players who have left the other faction to join ours. Let's not take it as an insult, either. Both factions have a handful of players who have switched sides. It's whatever.

I think he has somewhere around 1.5 million HP. Some of us have been putting him into a "playpen" to keep him out of the way for a while because he's SO not worth the trouble. :|
I've managed to do the same with the Stalker once when I was in the dungeon alone, but I usually end up stuck in an Ankle Snare while her Clowns start breaking my shoes and do other horrible things... ._.

Then he instantly respawns to hassle someone else/I don't have a Sniper or Champion friend to just call on demand to camp him CONSTANTLY/no one responds when I ask if anyone wants to help in the dungeon/not all of the jobs I run in on use high Flee to somewhat ignore him/etc.. etc., etc.
His 20 point value isn't worth the time it takes to stop and kill him (rather than focus on other enemies), and taking him out doesn't get him out of the way for x amount of time like the MVP. He is a waste of time. That is why we move him.

As Kerax mentioned, the gunny IS kinda fun with high flee. But the time it takes to kill him is probably not worth it point wise.

It didn't take all too long, and it's fun going after him, keeping everyone else in the dungeon safe until they find him again, then you kill him again.

I'll just say that I'm not opposed to quickly dispatching him in a group or for fun, but I personally find bothering to kill him terribly inefficient in most cases when I'm in the dungeon. I don't think I want to go into any further details or break it down in this thread right now, though, but I prefer dealing with him in another way. :x Killing him for fun is totally fine, though, yeah.
MVP is a different story despite whether or not she's worth her point share.

Honestly, I feel Nid should disable faction jumping AND faction registration at least two weeks before the event actually ends. Doing this will motivate players to fight for and advance their own faction, instead of giving up and taking advantage of what the other team has worked for all this time.

I don't know about the other comments, and I don't know how often we have 3+ people spawn camping, but I don't condone anyone from either side doing it. :/

Well if your buffing with a non faction char. that breaking a rule so they would get punish but it would be nice if the spawn point wasn't right by that portal.

I happen to come across this multiple times. And during those times, its the same people who did it previously. Not gonna name anybody. I`d leave it to their common sense to not do what shouldn`t be done.
And as far as I know from all the wars ive been to (not that i go on every war everyday.) but atleast 1 rek reminds the team not to spawn camp etc etc. So if we just keep reminding our own team not to, who knows, maybe it`ll fix the dirty problem? \o.o

The issue I mean is that if spawn killing was prevented by like, a barrier, then if factioned buffers are in the barrier, they can't be killed.
Need to somehow block spawn camping while allowing the ability to kill buffers.

Well the stun effect we get for seconds? minute? is what makes the "spawn killing" more efficient.. IMO .. ;/
I think if we didn`t have that, then maaaaybe.. people have time to fight back and kill the spawn killer of whichever side is spawn killing.... Mebeh?

We've got a week people. Remember you need at least 100 points to get into the dungeon (I'm going to assume on either side) after the event goes down. So if you want a character with access get into the dungeons and get your needed points I know this is in vain but i swear to God if anyone who posted here suddenly freaks out when they cant enter the dungeon at event end I'm stabbing you...

Temp and I were in the dungeon a lot last night. We're now at 189050 points. I'm now sure we can hit that 200k with a couple more people's help today/tomorrow. Only 5.5k per day if we get it by the end of tues. Easy as cake.

Has anyone played this recently or do you know offhand like... how many minutes do you have before the match starts, the exact names of the DA potions, their coin prices, how much repairs cost, how many coins you get when you start, what the Tool Dealer sells, NPC names and positions inside DA, etc.? @_@ (If not, could someone find out for me?) I guess I could try to help play a round of DA and check them myself, but I'm never on anymore and it's way too cold for my fingers to actually want to play anything without a controller. Are people even able to get matches going anymore?
I'll check announcements and other posts later in case it's there, but I'm too cold and lazy right now.
