Hey im trying to download the full client and im having some trouble. Im trying to download part 1 and every time i try it tells me to insert a disc or something? It says set up needs the next disc.. Any ideas anyone? Please and thank you

You must download all 3 parts for it to work. Think of it like lego sets you can't build the final piece until you open up all packages. In this case you need to download all 3 to make it work.

I understand that but i cant even download part 1 because its saying setup needs the next disc and i dont know what disc its talking about.

No I use chrome too, and when I click "Part 1" it downloads in seconds do you have any plug-ins that could be affecting your exe downloads?

All the plug-ins i use are all the ones that are recomended to you. Should i change anything there?

Sorry about that working on personal computer related issues XD Try disabling your plug-ins see if that helps. I really can't say since I don't know what plug ins you have but it doesn't hurt. If all else fails use IE.

Work on vista how the download? It should, if you're having issues installing run as admin. Vista can have those funny permission issues even when they are "off"

This is what i do step by step:

1:Click Run
2: Allow it
3: Hit Next (Setup Wizard)
4:Accept Agreement
5: Select Location

6: It says " Please insert disk 1 and click OK(If the files on the disk can be found in another than the one displayed below enter the correct path or click browse.
7: I click next and it says Could not be located "Please insert the correct disk or select another folder.

I have never seen step 6 or 7 before

When it gives you that message it is looking for the other 2 parts of the installer.

Do not run the setup until you have all three parts downloaded :P

If it automatically runs the setup (part 1) when you download it then you can save part 2 and part 3 first.

The only problem with that idea is that i cant save it.. im only allowed to run it... i think im going to try to download part 2-3 then try part 1... i hope that works!

You should be able to download the exe ... Try using IE and right clicking save as

I got everything downloaded but now when i try to start the game it saysanesis.exe has stopped working =(

it really hates you @.@

Just to verify You have the anesis.exe and part 2 and part 3 in the same folder.  aka anesis_full_20121103-1.bin and anesis_full_20121103-2.bin

and JUST the anesis.exe file is broken? I may be able to get you a link to a working one. that you hopefully be able to download without flaw.

But as you said you're having issues downloading it still? and it being corrupted when you download?

so all three parts finished downloading, and then you ran anesis_full_20121103.exe (Part 1) to install the game?

did you get any errors while you were installing that asked you to skip any files?

if there were no errors while installing, check C:\Games\AnesisRO or something like that, if you weren't already looking there.  i just want to make sure files didn't end up in odd places. there should be over 100 files and folders in there, among them anesis.exe and anesispatch.exe (they might just show up as anesis and anesispatch depending on your computer settings).

if there were errors while installing, i hate to say it but the files lost a few bits while they were downloading and so they will not be able to install all the files the game needs to run. i suggest you follow the steps here for a more reliable download: http://www.anesisro.com/forums/index.php?topic=118782.0 (http://www.anesisro.com/forums/index.php?topic=118782.0)

I downloaded the torrent and it is now downloading the full anesisro... Eta is about 3 hours... I hope this works! and Thanks for your help...Praying this works lol!

Is it korean in the login area? or the User interface after you login? If it's the wrong language after login you need to change your skins do you know how?

If it is your login it's due to missing english UI pics Not sure why that is.

i found where it says skins but how do i change it... i clicked on default and it was koreon... any forum i can read to see how to change it?

i would love to figure out how to fix this issue because one of my friends has it from time to time. but it's weird because it usually "fixes itself". like one day it's all korean, next day normal. he has win7. but i also have a laptop with win7 and it doesn't have any problems with ro... so idk.

also it shows a different background on the login screen: 3rd class characters. and that is definitely not our login background.

i'm just going to sit back and see how this plays out because this issue has stumped me for weeks.

Here's what's going on

If set on default it means the english is missing from aro which it should not be, but sometimes it says muahaha I don't care and just does what it wants... Yeah I know I don't get it either. to change just use the drop down box. You SHOULD have skins in the drop down box as aRO should have like 5 options. you're able to download/install more but that's for another discussion.

This goes same for your friend Kaeri it doesn't see the english in the abdata.grf for some reason and takes the next best thing. It's either that or crash.

There is a default folder in your skin folder that does have some korean (just checked that and to lazy to go back and fix what was already typed)

aright well when i try to sign in even in koreon it says NO MSG ... can that be because it is in koreon or am i missing something... i looked for the drop down box you were talking about but i dont see it anywhere

a google search says it's a fail to connect issue.

turn off firewall
patch rsu-kro-rag-lite
patch rsu-kro-renewal-lite
patch anesispatch
open

hope that works.

i patched them all and still nothing... it still says NO MSG and the font is all in Korean... this is SO aggravating!! i just want to play already Lol

Hey everyone thanks for all the help i figured it out and managed to fix it... it sucks i lost some items though..maybe because i havent been on in soo long!.  but i gues  have to buy celebs again it looks like... well thank you once again! see ya in game!
