Title: So I downloaded it in 30 minutes and..
Post by: Johnsu on November 07, 2012, 07:22:07 pm
Im glad the server still exists, but unless you guys make drastic changes, this is all its ever gonna be. Sure there is a new patcher and stuff, but its really the same stuff. No one was in-game, everything just looked dead. I have major love for this server since it was my first and mostly only, but you guys have nothing to lose. Make some really big changes please. Change took forever on Animus. Lets not let that happen again.

//Agree (the server does need more content and structure on some point)

Yes, this is true, but the server is still in its first stages. There was not much time to do any drastic changes right now, since the first priorities were to get the server up, and then to get the event done. We're not at 100% speed yet, but soon.

I rather they get a stable framework out by next year than rushing and finishing before next year and have an absolutely unstable framework...

RO is pretty old and outdated. Im pretty sure if they decide to innovate, they have the framework ready. All servers are suffering when you check them out. The other server is just blah boring, not that I've tried it. I like the way this server is going, with faction wars, but its gonna take a lot more than FW to get people to come back.

Dynamic quests with improved enemy AI. All that talk explaining how Faction Wars was made possible and how it could be applied to quests...

I think regular updates followed by public change-logs will make a big impact. Change takes time, but as long as there is regular content updates and bug fixes, it'll help keep people around.
When there is not patch notes for people to read in several months time, we tend to feel like nothing is going on. Even if there is~
So, that said. I think more regular updates with patch notes to boot will help. Along with trying to keep us semi informed with what's going on behind the scenes development wise.
