According to RMS...

Rice Cake soup makes you lose around 100 hp

Magic Carnation heals hp.

That's pretty crap, considering the Carnation weighs 100...

i have a question
there are items out there with the description saying that they add 2 str
is the effect forever or...?

Yep it's called stat food. It's a consumable item that you can obtain from 'Frothy's Food Stop~~' (http://pc.bot.nu/prontera/merchinfo.php?vendername=DirtyMerchant). These foods come in a range of stat varieties, perfect for when you need that much needed 20minute boost.
 
In your case, I recommend Frothy's 'Seasoned Webs' for 20k! You'll have to be quick, Frothy hasn't been farming for a week and stocks are limited!

I have lot of those stat foods from Blazers

Some special items that drop with no explanations

Sweet Tangerine : +30 ATTK for 15 minutes
Griilled Skewer : +30 Accuracy
Magic Carnation has no visible effect.
Never got a Red vermillion wine so far as well.
