You can donate for Ads then sell those Ads for Zeny but you can't directly buy Zeny.

I think Real Money Trading (RMT) is illegal unless you're buying ads

Real-world Money -> Ad Credits -> Zeny       OK
Real-world Money -> Zeny                             NOT OK

So pretty much,
If you donate to the server and trade from there, its fine.
If you offer to pay someone directly with your credit/debit for their zeny, that's illegal.
