============================================================================== Pets ============================================================================== I've included a pet section since pets tend to help their owners in a fight. Since the pet skills are not yet enabled in pRO I've included this for the other versions of RO. I will also include the taming item for the pet.
------------------ Sohee ------------------ Skill: She will heal if HP drops to 1/3 of max hp of player. Taming Item: Silver Knife of Chastity Comment: If you get one of these consider yourself lucky since its very hard to obtain a pet like this.
------------------ Rocker ------------------ Skill: +1 on all stats for 60 seconds or 1 minute. Taming Item: Singing Flower Comment: Kind of bad at higher levels since a +1 on all stats in not that great anymore.
------------------ Deviruchi ------------------ Skill: +6 on all stats for 6 seconds. Taming Item: Contract of Shadows Comment: Very nice to get for yourself since a +6 on all stats is very useful in and out of a battle.
------------------ Earth Petite ------------------ Skill: Cast Heaven's Drive lvl 1. Taming Item: Shining Stone Comments: Very useful pet since it casts a earth based skill to attack the monster though it may succumb in other monster that are not weak from from earth element attacks.
------------------ Lunatic ------------------ Skill: +3 on LUK for 10 seconds. Taming Item: Rainbow Carrot Comment: Though not as good as a Deviruchi pet, a +3 is okay for any forger.
------------------ Poring ------------------ Skill: Loot up to 10 items. Taming Item: Unripe Apple Comment: Kind of nice since when you lag your pet can get the item(s) that have been dropped by the monster.
------------------ Poporing ------------------ Skill: Loot up to 15 items. Taming Item: Bitter Herb Comment: A much better alternative to porings.
------------------ Steel Chonchon ------------------ Skill: +4 on AGI and VIT for 20 seconds. Taming Item: Rusty Iron Comment: A +4 on both AGI and VIT is very okay for a leveling forger.
------------------ Munak ------------------ Skill: Attack with an undead based element. Taming Item: No Recipient Comment: Kind of OK to me though it will suffer if you plan on fighting undead monsters.
----------------- Bongun ----------------- Skill: Attack with an undead based element. Taming Item: Her Heart Comment: Much like munaks but their attacks are stronger.
----------------- Pecopeco ----------------- Skill: Move faster by mounting on your pecopeco. Taming Item: Fatty Chubby Earthworm Comment: Think Pecopeco Riding skill of Knights.
----------------- Spore ----------------- Skill: Cure poison after 1 minute. Taming Item: Dew Laden Moss Comment: Useless pet since you could easily carry green herbs, panacea, or green potions.
----------------- Poison Spore ----------------- Skill: Attack with a poison based element. Taming Item: Deadly Noxious Herb Comment: I don't like this personally since poison attack aren't than useful to me.
----------------- Picky ----------------- Skill: +3 STR for 10 seconds. Taming Item: Earthworm the Dude Comment: A +3 on STR is not that bad but there are better pet out there.
----------------- Isis ----------------- Skill: cast lvl 2 Magnificat when BOTH HP/SP is below 50%. Taming Item: Armlet of Obedience Comment: I prefer a Sohee pet than this but since sohee is so hard to tame so get this if you CANNOT tame/buy/trade a sohee.
----------------- Baphomet Jr. ----------------- Skill: Attack with a shadow based element. Taming Item: Book of Devil Comment: useful on Holy property monster but will succumb on undead/dark/shadow property monsters.
----------------- Yoyo ----------------- Skill: Loot up to 20 items. Taming Item: Tropical Banana Comment: The best pet when it comes to looting since its much faster than porings.
----------------- Savage Bebe ----------------- Skill: +4 on VIT for 10 seconds. Taming Item: Sweet Milk Comment: Steel Chonchon pet is much better than this though this one is much easier to get.
----------------- Chonchon ----------------- Skill: +4 on AGI for 10 seconds. Taming Item: Rotten Fish Comment: Steel Chonchon pet is much better than this though this one is much easier to get.
----------------- Drops ----------------- Skill: Loots up to 10 items. Taming Item: Orange Juice Comments: The same as poring.
----------------- Desert Wolf Puppy ----------------- Skill: Cast lvl1 Provoke during battle. Taming Item: Well Dried Bone Comment: I don't like it since it only cast lvl1 provoke.
----------------- Smokie ----------------- Skill: Perfect Hide Taming Item: Baked Yam Comment: Only useful for players with the "Hide" skill or "Cloaking" skill.
----------------- Orc Warrior ----------------- Skill: Attack with a neutral based attack(Ignores defense) Taming Item: Horror of Tribe Comment: The best pet when it comes to melee combat since they ignore defense. They are actually the most useful pet when fighting with high def monsters like MVPs, eggryas, golems, etc.
----------------- Dokkaebi ----------------- Skill: Cast Hammer Fall(level unknown) Taming Item: Old Broom Comment: I think that this pet is useless since even if it casts a lvl5 Hammer Fall, there is still a small chance to stun the monster.
----------------- Hunter Fly ----------------- Skill: Attack with a wind based attack Taming Item: Monster Juice Comment: This pet will kick ass on Byalan dungeon though on Ant Hell dungeon his attack will succumb.

so the bonuses do work? i was told in game by someone not to bother, that they didn't work at all on this server; well thanks for the clarification. awesome.

They work but the pet has to be Cordial or Loyal...and on this server we have custom abilities although some of them are the same as official pets.

Also there were custom pets like the Whisper one which adds +10 flee (loyal) if I remember correctly because I still have it but couldn't be bothered feeding it all the time so just kept it in egg.
