i just want to know how to make a whitesmith ranked one.  ;)

if i overup any other weapon or even forged weapons and while forging it break can i get points ?
also if i overup armour or any other weapon buy from prontera or somewhere and try to upgrade those will i get points? if break then can i get points ?

Nope, you don't get points when you break a weapon.
And no, armors don't work; it's weapons only. There is no such option to refine armors.

I've been considering to become a ranked smith too, sadly the demand for ranked weapons is too little to risk/waste alot of money for it.  :(

+5 atk is not worth buying a ranked weapon imo

unlike alchemy and other creations, smithing always has a chance to fail regardless of max luk dex marionette and other blessings.

it was powergod. Start low then go higher if your up to the challenge for VVstrong *name/wep*

I just put in 5000 dex and it goes to 100%, I also see nowhere in that thread that says there's a max success rate

lower right hand  where it say's forging results it'll change as you apply info
v-vvv are your strong point accumulation along with wep refinement

it does /ok I forgot why but they still break

and it's just a waste of time/money if you want some ranked forged thing just mail lord ryu or anyone on the list, but the difference isnt worth imo, of course you can get a +10 anything cheaper from a ranker than if you made it yourself, they only profit on +7 shit

you mean RMS? yeah and I can get it to 100% with enough stats
Where did it say in the thread? I just skimmed through it

I don't doubt there could be a cap but I don't see why o_o

there's no cap, its just the limit of how high u can get your stats and keeping them up (Ex: gospel 1 minute limit for the +20 stats)
Made a mistake, it was vvs(elemental)-vvvs wep to get the ranking points. High % success but still a low % failure rate on VVS+ unlike others where u hit a breaking point in guaranteeing 100% creation all the time.

The alternative is refining the weps the smith made themselves and the main reason for failing:

two prong approach to get rankings :x

I think it was on line 9 of Forging Pure Elemental stones and Weapons or something, mentions on how it's all luck from there on out. Never did specify how or what makes the % failure calculation when forging, refine wise is another story.
