Title: am i better off...

am i better off trying to farm a sniping suit or save money to buy it. i had to go back and read that the drop rate was reduced to 0.02% so now i'm wondering if i'll ever get it by farming. so which time frame would i be able to get it faster by if i played the same amount of time every day which is 1-3 hours maybe 3 days a week

i have horrible luck over all :/ i may just get a diab robe instead since it's much more in my grasp

I remember the time i farmed it.. i killed like 700 - 800 bow guardians and didnt even get a SS just wasted my time :(

Two friends of mine got them within a 3 hour difference. One got it while leeching her char and the other one got it out of jealousy  ::)

I got 1 last time in thor 2. There's like only 1 bow guardian there and it was blocking the entrance to thor 3. So wanting to go thor 3, i killed the bow guardian and it drop a snipping suit for me xD

It's all about luck. If you like to farm, then i guess you should go ahead and try to farm one. I personally just bought it myself, the supplies needed when you farm in thor 3 cost a lot anyways. If you can find a HP to party you, a HW+HP combo works the best there.

seriously :( I'm trying to do it solo on a sniper so i stay on the first floor, i've tried for one i dunno how many times and i've gotten maybe a bow [3] out of it :( your more likely to get a diab robe from 1 try at morroc than to get 1 from bow guards in a 24 hour period :/

I got two, in different times tho. One is mines and the other one I was kind enough to give it to a friend.

I must say, it IS really hard to get one, but I won't pay 140m+ for one neither.

i just don't know if i'd get the 140 mil or the sniping suit first :/ i gotta make the most of the tie i can get on now :/ working midnights and getting ready for a baby kinda takes away alot of my time

Dedicate one day to hunting for the suit, and another to making zeny for the suit. That way if by some stroke of luck you DO get one, you'll have some zeny to card it  :laugh:

I got 2 sniping suits in 3 days but I think it was being at the right place at the right time... pretty sure there were others farming aswell, just got lucky

well after like 3-5 hours and no luck so far on 1, i have gotten orleans and a meteor plate and a mes. everything but a SS /sigh

Farm for it, and kill everything else along the way. You'll get something good for the effort period.

so i spend like 6-8 hours in thor for a day or so.nothing. i think my luck is better off going for the z since i'm half way there now :/
