Title: Decent Equipment For A Sniper?

So this just came to mind and i was wondering what all I should work on buying to get a decent/good equipment setup.

Currently, I have ...

Apple of Archer

+4 Rudra Bow
Angelic Hood (Orc Zombie)
Glove

Binoculars
Jacket of Ares (Pecopeco)
Undead Killer's Sandals (zombie prisoner)
Earring

I have a lot of gear that I need to get, clearly. So what are YOUR guys' suggestions?

BTW, I'm a 88/56/50 Sniper. I'm currently working on the Moscovia Dungeon quest so I'll be getting my money from there, until then i kill mobsters, gh prison, butterfly things (north of gonyrun), or farm cake.

I was thinking like...
+10 DDTT Comp Bow
2x Glove [1] (Don't know what card or anything)

And not too sure about anything else, this is my first week back in a LOONG time so I'm not familiar with prices and i can't really remember what cards do what. So thanks in advance guys.

Get a 2x kaho card 2x scorpion + 10 CT for moscovia also teleport and steal clip, whisper/kavach Icarus skin of ventus, Myst/DL shoes, sting gloves if you want more damage or kobold deathloops for more critical if you're dps. That's for moscovia dungeon.

I'll post up the mid tier pvp/woe gears later, when I get home. :)

vote for a 1 ad headgear

Satanic Bone Helm [1]   DEX + 3. Add a 5% resistance against Neutral Property attacks. Enables use of Level 1 Frost Nova.
Ramen Hat  DEX + 4. Chance of auto casting Level 1 Concentration on the enemy when attacking.
Ulle's Cap [1] DEX + 2, AGI + 1 (+ Odin's Blessing [Base Dexterity >= 70] Reduce SP Consumption of skills by 10%.) - odin's approx 50k

Vanberk Card (For 5 seconds Critical Rate + 100 when attacking to the enemies) if you're dpsing. - approx 7m.

can temporarily do Matyr (Agi + 1/Max Hp + 10%) or Verit (Max Hp/Sp + 8%) shoes - approx 1.5m ea
or with maybe Tidal Shoes [1] (Water Resistance + 5%)(+ Wool Scarf [1] Max Hp + 10%) for moscovia - 500kish or less?

or just straight up do Variant Shoes (Max Hp/Sp + 20%) - approx 1m?

Swordfish Card (Enchant armor with Water Property) for mosc if you don't have enough flee. - approx 1m or less.

Would just like to add that DPS is a no no in Mosc if you dont have an Arte and a ridiculous amount of crit. Mavka's high LUK (177) Reduces Crit by 35, so crit build is meh for sniper.  Best bet to go Full Dex/Agi and spam Double Strafe on the Mavkas with the Double Kaho Double Scorpion Bow.

Yes, you'll have the highest (and cheapest) damage against them.
And tbh one could farm Cakes off the Yagas too, you just need to carry Wind arrows and a good bow.

Alright man thanks so much! What arrows should i bring with me then? Other then wind? And which arrows for which monster?

Wind = Baba Yaga
Fire = Mavka


But you're not forced to kill Yagas if you want, it's just an extra is you happen to have an universal bow (becasue the Kahox2, Scorpion x2 is ONLY FOR MAVKA).

yeah, but i prefer not killing the yagas cause when you add it up you'll have more earnings if you're just killing mavkas.

So yeah just spam DS with 2 sting gloves, and don't hit babayagas or uzkhas to avoid getting waterballed.

I think Vanberk is work better on mob so i guess choose better mid.

How would vanberk be good on mobs? It just increases your crit for 5 seconds. Unless you're gonna DPS the crap out of huge mobs 1 by 1 then I don't see the point in vanberk if you're going to mob.

I tried Vanberk mid already and i noticed that this is not really good in 1 on 1 monster so i think better go for other mid.I suggest keep the money first and buy a gryphon mid.

honestly i'd get a blazer for making money. then go somewhere with good spawns ad you can kill easily, and mob kill. you could easily make 1mil+ an hour like that. kafra clip makes it easier and a merchant with overcharge lvl 10 give you more money for free. for gear you'll want anything that gives +agi or dex if you want 190 aspd with no dops.

Yeah, don't get vanberk for 1 vs 1 scenarios. I dunno why people like EWEs and AWEs. Probably cuz it gives some def vs other mids. I don't think I've seen anyone mention a garment card. Deviling card (20 ads) is hands down the best generic situation card for garments. Raydric card (5 ads) is a 4x cheaper version of the Deviling card and the Harpy card (1 frekin ad) is an even 20x cheaper than the Deviling card.

Like renegadezero0 said, Blazer card (5 ads) is fan-f***ing-tastic for making money. It can literally pay itself off in a few hours (if you're a mobber.) It's simply a must have if for mobbers. gl in aRO.

yah my bad, i actually usually use vanberk with a bapho bow or bapho mg. its good in mobs cause more atk = more proc, but only if you have splash. haha.

and there was already mention of kavach icarus/whisper skin of venatus.

Depends of the place you go-- if you require an elemental reduction like in Thors, you should go Pasana. For Moscovia I'm not sure, I never paid attention to it, I guess Pest, Sleep, or Freeze work well so you can just focus on Mavka.
Usually Tights[1] are good, but if you plan of using other characters I would recommend another light-weight armor like Mantle or Formal Suit.


Have the good habit of using quivers- to reduce the weight stress. Aswell if you can, only bring what you need and nothing else, Snipers particulary have trouble with weight capacity.

for mosc i bring a wind marc, but i mob yaga's too and wb is the biggest problem with them and urz(w/e). the best all around armor would be a holy armor of some sort, since it reduces damage from everything except undead and shadow i believe by like 25%.

I use GR Suit because well..hell...nothing hits me, I don't care, I don't even use healings, but that's me and I'm geared to the teeth. <.<

But I've seen status armors, they seem to work a-OK there.
