Gday all,  Im new the the game, if by new I mean haven't played yet, which I do.  Thought Id present myself to the community for meets/greets/trolling ect.  Anyway, while the client downloads I am reading the wikki, I am probably going with the Acolyte as a first class, but they seem a bit nerfed in the combat department, will it be easy enough to find pple to travel with as a support character?

Welcome to the server and the game, hope you enjoy your stay, and usually yes, a acolyte (especially a priest) is sought after in parties, and if you prefer a more combative version you could always try the monk branch of the class.

Stay novice til like lvl 40, change to an aco via the quest and then go heal bombing in like gh prison til 70-80 /ok

Thanks for the welcomes and advice!  I got home to find the client all downloaded, when I ran it however I got an error saying the installer was corrupted  ???.  I will try again but at the moment only have 10 gig a month to download with.

Also just so you know, lots of priests level quite easily by themselves once they obtain proper gear.

Sir, me thinks I should introduce you to the world of Mercenaries. on www.irowiki.com you'll find topics specifically for them that explain them in detail, and in the Game Mechanics section if you earch for Mercenary or AI you'll probably find some preset AI you can put in your folder to have a half decent functioning AI for any mercenary you may choose to accompany you in your travels. Test it on a character you don't care about first, for it seems it does not work for everyone~

Yes it is easy to find people to go around with.
there's plenty of guilds tht are helpful
