Title: Dual Clienting with Full Installer 8-13-11

I was told that in order to dual client with the latest full installer, you have to open all clients before logging in. Is anyone else having this problem? Hesitant to upgrade.

Who told you this? I can dual client just fine with the latest full installer, even if the first character is already logged in.

It seems the problem was Vista UAC, but seeing as mine is disabled, I might as well upgrade.

Mm, yeah right, I remember problems with Vista's UAC, so you did get the Cannot init d3d or grf error or so if you tried to dual client with it enabled (I think I heard that it also happens on XP), but anyway, it's not related to the full installer, it's just how the operating system deals with the client, I guess. So if it worked before, you can just as well download the new full installer!

I don't know exactly which error he was having but he wasn't getting it with his previous installation, only after he upgraded, that's all I know.  ???
