Title: How do I get rid of this purple text??

I have tried turning all messages off but it still gets through.  I don't know who these people are and I can't chat back.  Every message begins with (M).  I tried ignoring it but I just can't take it anymore.  What is this and how do I make it go away??

That's Main chat and you can toogle it on and off with @main off/on (turns off main chat off for the time you're logged in) and @main permaoff/permaon  (turns main off permanently (requires being already off) )

if you wish to reply on main, put "Main" in the whisper box at the far left box from your typeing box

but their are rules to useing main chat, so you might want to look at the forums rules about things here as well :3
