Just started back up on RO. My friend got me started in the game but I'm having a hard time with the game.

Besides Mobbing and running through the prison killing ghouls and zombz, what else is there to do on RO? there really isn't a quest guideline or a story as far as I can tell...

Anyone feel like helping a Brotha out?

you can always talk on main chat by putting main on the whisper box and type

their are some thing things to do on aRO, just take a look around the forum and remember to watch for the rules

There really isn't any solid storyline to RO. As for things to do here..err, well there aren't a whole lot of quests, but the ones we do have are decent enough. Theres the farming/leveling, of course, vending, pvp, battlegrounds (which isnt very active), war of emperium (you need high end gears for this..unless you do SQI-less WoE, but only 2 guilds really participate in it), umm...you can socialize in towns with people that aren't autovending/buying (lol), umm..or lurk/post/troll on the forums. Thats about all there is to this place. It doesn't sound like much but it can be quite entertaining and time consuming. I enjoy leveling, pvp and WoE, myself.

if you feel like you're in trouble with lvling and overall socialling and such such,
I happily suggest joining a guild. there are so many awesome friendly guilds in this server /ok

Hello and welcome to our server. :) As some have stated, there are things to do, but I agree with Toast Toast that joining a guild is the best place to start. Here we have a guild index (http://www.animusro.com/forums/index.php/topic,109179.0.html) of all the active guilds. I would suggest a social one to start with. You could also check out some of my events, either on forums or in game. I'm going to be hosting some mini games later today if I can squeeze some time in. /wow

Oh yeah, I forgot theres endless tower and the new world maps. They're pretty fun as well. Quite a few social and pvp guilds go there pretty frequently. I'd also recommend finding a guild to join. I made my start in a social guild.

Welcome to Animus!

One thing I enjoy about this game is that it's not quest-dependent.  You have the freedom to go to a variety of maps with a variety of monsters.  Sometimes I feel like wind, sometimes ice, and I can just go do what I want rather than having to consult my quest log and follow a set plan.  We do have quests - aside from entry quests we also have some headgear quests and things like that - but the game is not run by them.

Thank you all  :) I appreciate all the feedback! I'll look into some of your suggestions, mostly it's just my buddy that helps me out but I guess this game is more a social game like that or Habbo and alot of MMO's

Off topic but have any of you guys/girls played the MU MMO games?

Quest Guidelines (http://irowiki.org/wiki/Quests) - not all are on this server, especially not any of the special events
I'd advise joining a guild as that will probably be the best help
