How Long is it to get a ranked bio nowadays? :O And would it be costy?

a batch of 200 perfect slims in a row gets you 1280 points, you would want to make it with white potions and use twilight alchemy. Most people do it by buying white potions from the NPC but some opt to farm/buy the white herbs and make the white pots themself, which is an extra time consuming step.

Put it this way, on RMS test server, I had quad berz and quad kiel w/ 195 aspd. It took me 30 minutes to get 4m points and that is making batches of 30k pots at a time with a command to generate the items required for twilight alchemy

edit: and top bios/alchemists still have trouble making perfect batches every time on our server

Top Bio's have no problem making perfect batches, they can get 100% success rate. Unless you don't want a vani, then you get around 93-96%.

Ok, I'm just basing my statement on Miss All Sunday because she has problems getting it all the time, then again she also said she doesn't use vanil

Anyway, it is still a long and costly process, even w/ 100%

You need around 4M points to just be on the top 10. And if you do the math on Zenny/Point. You'll know how much you'll need + The gears for it. You won't be profitable for a while if ever so that's a lot of money you should be willing to flush out down the drain.

I think there are some changes that needs to be done. At least five of those on the top aren't even playing anymore (as far as I know). It discourages people who have hopes of being ranked. It seems like you need to treat this as a real job if you want to get in to. Which isn't fun and defeats the purpose of playing a game.

On a side note, Nami was selling her Biochemist a few months back. She was asking around 600M which I though was ridiculous at the time. Perhaps you could buy an already ranked one (if it wasn't sold already). That would save you a lot of time and zeny trying to be ranked.

It's not problems, it's lack of wanting to client additional clients. My average success rate is 96%, and I have a vanil, but don't use it. I've tried it in Aegis, and I find it useless. I get 200's quite easily, but like I said not all the time. Conversely you can get like 10 200/200's in a row and then drop down to 187 and back to 199. I know and have known several ranked bios who client a gospel whore and wait specifically for their buffs to make pots to ensure the 200/200.

Also, just because the bio doesn't sell their pots publicly, doesn't mean their inactive. At least thats the case for #9. Trilse was also trying to sell their bio. I agree a lot of the people on that list are inactive, but no one else has put forth movement towards becoming ranked in almost 2 years. If you don't have the time/money for it, you shouldn't get insta ranked. Like when eA came up, and everyone who had like 300 points or some crap got ranked and thought they were cute, til the real rankers made pots and fixed it.

EA didn't "wipe" the ranks. It just wasn't processed, same for the ranked whitesmiths and TKs. The list didn't generate over from Aegis serverside, but everyone who was ranked still had rank, just had to make a pot/weapon/do a mission for it to show up on the list. Therefore, if the "insert class here" hadn't done that, and someone else did, they showed up on their respective list. Once everyone who was ranked made something, it showed and replaced the others.

It's like Rolover said, you can spam Taekwon Mission until you get a new one, assuming you haven't killed any vocals for the mission yet. I believe it's a 1% chance to get a new mission? /hmm I usually spam TaekMission until I get something rediculously easy such as Ant egg, Poporing, Poison Spore, Rocker, Plants, etc.

The only way I can get a perfect batch is using gospel. I don't have vanil either. You can try using food also. 93% is my usual rate.

you can get mini mvps though

and its pretty hard for the average player to get perfect slim making as it requires dual sting brys and djinn

I did the math a little while ago (not sure if i'm 100% right but whatever, should be relatively close).
If you want to get i think it was 4mil points, you need to make like 625,000 slim whites.
And it will cost you around 800mil to make them all if you buy the stuff from NPC's with discount or whatever the skill is called :P

although itll be a bit cheaper (1%) with compulsion discount, which in this case would actually be 8m xD

and just think, you have to cast twilight 3000 times
continuous casting alone will take you more than 4 hrs

Is pretty fucking lame if no1 can even attempt to become ranked nowadays unless their uber rich vets with nothing else to do with their many bils of zeny...
