Is this guide still accurate? [link] (http://www.animusro.com/forums/index.php/topic,73784.0.html) I mean.. we did switched and all. I'm just wondering if 100% success on potion making still possible or did that changed?  ???

Also, does Vanilmirth's Change Instruction (http://ratemyserver.net/index.php?page=skill_db&skid=8015) skill help with brewing? Or is it not working at the moment?

I'm not sure if you can hit 100%, its more like 99% because there is always a chance to break stuff regardless, all those methods of getting stats in that guide work.

I'm still able to hit 200/200 for both slims and white pots with both twilights, but it's not a consistent factor. Whites pots are always 200/200, but slims range from 187-199 with a few 200s after each other. Then again, I've not used gospel buffs in ages because of the clienting factor. As for vanil, I've never bothered to use mine while pot making.

Okay. So what would be the absolute best gears for brewing? Perhaps there are some new stuffs that the guy didn't have access back then.

Every bio probably uses a different variation, but this is what I use:

Kaho
Zealotus Guard (Luk +2)
Baby Leopard Lord's Clothes (+3 luk, +1 int)
2x Sting Brys
Moonlight Bunny Slippers (dex+5, luk+3)
Monsoon Muffler
Vesper Mid (+2 dex)

and I usually use +10 dex foods

Do you know if DEX or LUK has the higher... effect? On the success rate of making potions?

I guess the only ones I'm wondering about is the MIDGEAR and Djinn's carding (Mainly towards if DEX or LUK gives a better success rate).

Also, if you guys know anything we have that is better than what's listed above. Please point the item out and let us know.

I haven't really specialized a mid for making pots(i just use my HW's vesper), I used to also use a willow mini glasses for the int. I believe it's dex that factors more into your success than luk, but I'm not a numbers person and more a trial/error/theory person.

My djinn is DD, and I'd honestly not waste the money on a valk armor or a seperate djinn for pot making =/ I don't know anything about the lower mids you posted, or if we have them though.

And ofc you need to take into account marionette control as well, always dex over luk when statting that, so I'd assume it's dex>luk>int as the formula goes.

According to the calculator, DEX and LUK equally influences the success rate. But I wouldn't sweat to it. DEX>LUK>INT sounds reasonable. And I wouldn't make a separate one either. At least not just yet.  :laugh: I actually just want to turn my Blue Herb stash in to potions since I got quite a few of them lying around. I had like 20k one time but I just used the NPC since there is no way I'd spend the time brewing all of those.  :(

And those bottom headgears aren't available yet. Hopefully we get them soon.

Perhaps a GM could check if Vanil's Change Instruction skill works like it is on the description (The brewing part). Though, iRO Wiki doesn't mention anything about it.  :(

i wouldn't bother w/ gryphon as you dont have enough stats to max out dex/luk/int at max level...

You'd probably be better off just selling those Blue Herbs directly to people, takes a lot less time and also helps people out. You can easily get 1900 Zeny per herb (that's my price) but you might be able to get even more than that.
