I know that hocus pocus or w/e its called now has a random effect of pet taming, does that work on event pets?

Some of them have effects. Some don't.

To my knowledge, it works on any monster whose pet egg is available.

edit: Some pets are confirmed to be tameable in sage/prof discussion.

Ah crap...disabled for the Halloween event too /swt
And here I wanted to catch those pets since I was busy in school during that event /sob
ofc I came back and went wtf at the 3m devi cards too o.o
