Title: Ungoliant (Closed)
Post by: BreakTheSilence on May 08, 2011, 10:28:40 pm
What is the respawn time for the ones found on the fields. And the one on the dungeon as well if you also know. I specifically want to know because RMS (http://ratemyserver.net/index.php?page=mob_db&mob_id=1618) says its 1260-2510mins and 1440-2873mins respectively. That sounds horrible...

I don't know exactly, but I can say I hardly ever see him when I go poking around Einbroch for fun.

the last time I checked, I killed him like every 30 mins when I first started using biochem.

And would that be just recently? Like this year or something?

I see. Well, thanks anyway.

Perhaps one of the GMs could check and answer this one.

According to the beginner's guide on front page.

A general guideline the server follows for MVP spawn times is as follows:

Field MVPs respawn every 60 minutes.
Dungeon MVPs respawn every 30 minutes.

but I coulda sworn ungoliant's spawn time was actually longer than 30 minutes...like an hour or so..

The thing though is.. it's not an MVP.

well in truth it used to give MVP status same as Angeling,Ghostring,Deviling,Mastering,Arc Angeling and many other uncommon mini bosses though I would like clarification on those as well as a few other mini bosses such as Hardrock Mammoth which isnt a MVP (atleast according to RMS) but it fits pretty well as a MVPs and the Tendrillion which is the same as Hardrock Mammoth...

Key word: "Used to"

But yeah. No. It doesn't even have a "boss" status. And yes, those two fits to be MVPs. But for some reason, Gravity didn't feel like so.
And I figured out the times. It's quite horrible.

I know back on Aegis, the ein_fld07 one used to spawn every thirty minutes but that's not the case anymore.

You can always grab a party and go to Endless Tower though. There's a floor filled with Ungoliants.

It comes out often from Hylos. If you have a powerful maxed character - you could use Hylos in Niff. Though be ready for re-warps.
