Title: Changing avatar.
Post by: Najara on April 01, 2011, 03:04:52 pm
I'm just checking before submitting a report.
Since the migration I'm unable to change my ava. If I remember correctly there were some difficulties before, but only with certain file types, like it didn't allow to put .jpeg images.
But right now it doesn't matter which file type it is, it keeps giving this message:
Quote
Your attachment couldn't be saved. This might happen because it took too long to upload or the file is bigger than the server will allow.
Please consult your server administrator for more information.
I even went as far as resizing to fit it perfectly lol... no positive result though. :( Anyone else ran into this problem or is it just me?
My bad if it's already been mentioned.

Are you uploading it from your computer or a URL? I always had a problem uploading from my computer. I just tested and I can change it freely if uploaded from a URL.

If you upload an avatar, it gets saved on the webserver, so probably, the path to save avatars and attachments has not been correctly set yet due to the webserver move.
