Title: Meats for 40+

I don't get this, not at all...

Why are people selling sh*t loads of meats for 40+ when they can be bought for like... 38z?
Better yet, why are peeps even buying them?

Someone please enlighten me.

There are people (the new ones, obviously) who haven't gotten around to making a merchant for OC and Discount yet. Also, there are people too lazy to switch to their merchants and walk, as stated above. The vendors primarily cater to these categories. Quite successfully, I might add.

Grape juice vending works on the same basic principle, by the way.

How to answer this more logically...

They are sold for that much because that is a merchants job, to buy low and to sell high. Anyone can make grapejuice, but not everyone does. Anyone can cook, but not everyone does. Repeat this logic as necesarry, and infer that not everyone wants to get on everyday on a merchant and stock up on items they are out of, equally not everyone wants to buy 100 days worth of supplies at a discounted price and store it. We play for the moment, and when one is on a knight and want dicounted meats fast, they go get some from the folks at payon dungeon (used to be more merchants in the orc dungeon too).

For a price difference of - let's say - 7z, that means it's a difference of 7000z for 1000 meat. That's like ... nothing. Loot which is worth 7000z can be made pretty fast even in low level areas. It's one semi-rare drop.
Why condemn this if it's an easy way for not-so-veteran players to make some easy money in the beginning? I think it's good! I also did it when I started playing.

there are newbies too.. i mean i didn't know anything about discount shopping when i was new i always buy them at their normal price via NPC.

Real simple words,

Merchant/Rogue's(there skill lowers 1% less lol)
B>Meat for cheap and sell like 6 zeny higher
cause people B> them cause they too lazy to switch to merch/rogue
