Title: MvP TANKS! >:D

What would be the best tank for MvPs?
I'm assuming each MvP would be different, but in general?

It'll be my cousin on his Sniper vs the MvP. The small ones, that is.

LK or Pally? Champ..? xD Scholar? wat?

Champ.  HP would be good for the small ones though.  Champ is used for the higher tier mvps since it also requires an HP to heal them, or a Paly for devo, or mmmmboth.

Im wondering why a Sniper needs a tank in first instance if they're ranged. But oh well okay.


Steel Body Champ for the big baddies.
Pally/Parry LK works too with the proper reduxs.

I tanked everything except SM and Naght on my HP... but that's just silly me xD

Steel body should do the job but you still need healing items and fcp. There are some skills that ignores def and some mvps breaks stoofs.

It IS because of SteelBody, right...?

Well Champs can do everything soo well:

Tank like a man, even tho Pally was kinda designed to be the tanker class...
Clean the PVP room floor with your face, with the ability to Heal and counter attacks~

What Champs CAN'T do?  8)

Well you just said hurt ghost monsters, nothing about killing them.  Also Gloom doesn't seem to have heal, so it should be possible to kill it like that.  :police:

It takes me minutes to kill Gloom spamming JT at 190 ASPD on my HW so I don't want to imagine how long that would take.

Anyway it sort of depends on what you plan on tanking, especially since some bosses have skills that pierce defense.

Well Champs can do everything soo well:

Tank like a man, even tho Pally was kinda designed to be the tanker class...
Clean the PVP room floor with your face, with the ability to Heal and counter attacks~

What Champs CAN'T do?  8)

Survive with out grape juice ;P silly addicts

I actually defeated Gloom Under Night with my monk. Nice Exp, I wasn't going to let it go, my monk required that exp D:
(took a lot of time because the isillias heal gloom)

You obviously haven't ever attempted to tank LH3 MVPs or berz solo on a champ @.@

Actually his real slaves (at least on our server) are 5 Agavs. It's really quite annoying because they break out of freeze really quickly.
