If you have one on and you kill a monster that can already drop OBB, does it give you two separate chances to get a OBB or does it work differently?

it should.... a monsters that drops obb is just like any other monster

Yeah, such item cards attach the extra drop to a monster's drop list each time they're killed by the hit of someone wearing such items. Just gotta make sure you deal the killing blow @.@

So in other words, it's an independant extra chance along with a monster's natural OBB drop chance for mimic card, yeah :)

Is it actually possible for  monster to drop two OBB at once or will dropping one cause the other not to drop( assuming the drops happen to align with each other).

If we're talking both item card and natural drop, yeah, it has an extremely low probability but it could happen that both chances would kick in and you'd get 2 OBBs off the same monster. I don't really feel like bringing out the math for this, just expect this to never happen. The good news is that you get 2 chances per said monster. Think of it like how some monsters will drop the same item multiple times normally and go from there.

If we're talking two of the same item card in your equipment though, they'll stack up I believe as per card rules. So only one chance, but the chance will be doubled. This doesn't apply to cards that have been limited, like how I hear only one Blazer card works.

(Though really it's the same theoretical chance whether the cards stack up or not or whether they roll the chance twice. The only difference is that once in awhile the chance of both dropping would intersect and you'd be rewarded with two, but the chance again is pretty much a zero.)

monsters can drop 2 items of the same kind at the same time

they drop two sometimes and they stack when picked so they have the same ID

I don't see why not, people have suggested for me to wear dual myst case stuff when I first came here and I noticed a big difference between wearing one and two cards, so unless they manually limited the cards like they did with blazer it should work =o

I heard when we went to eathena, that cards that add drops to monsters don't stack anymore like they use to on Aegis but it was never 100% confirmed.
