I used to play a Ragnarok Private Server (*RO) about 2 years ago, it had a dramatic ending and I ended up taking a break off RO, buying a Mac, taking down my PC, etc.

Now, I set my PC back up and I have to play some more RO.

I have been reading reviews on RMS.net and I think this is the server I want. I want a server that keeps the same feel as iRO and kRO, but with a skill/stat resetter, this one has warpers and I don't like that but, beggars can't be choosers.

People on the reviews often say this is a great place, but they say a few bad things too. Unfriendly community, expensive items and decline in active players. Now I don't want to be around unfriendly people but everyone's option is different and I'm sure you people are fine  :). Now they also say that you need to donate to get good items and I don't want to do this at all (at least at frist) because if I was going to pay money, I would be on iRO. Also I love small servers, my old server who is still dear to my head had maybe 15 active players for 2 years and it was great, so the decline in players wont affect me.

Now sorry for going on-and-on, doubt anyone will read all of this but I'll be seeing you in a couple of days, if someone wants to tank some drops and metalrings I'd love you forever.

Welcome to the server!

I beg to differ, the community is great :B You'll get the occasional tards but most everyone is nice and helpful :3
You don't have to donate to do well, you can donate if you want to get stuff fast, but otherwise if you take the time you can easily get the gears you want, there are many ways to do that without donating. /ok

Well, I'll just give you a few heads up.

This server is actually customized quite a bit.  For one, our donations.  Just about every normal card can be donated for, except for the new cards, which may eventually be added.
The majoirty of MVP cards are also donatable, with the exception of a few.  Some MVP cards are also customized a bit to create some sort of balance with that.

We do have an SQIless/MVPless WoE/Pvp where they disable mvp cards and SQIs.

Welcome to our family, one very huge family that is.
Like the previous few said, the community here is great, just that there is some rather annoying ones here as well, but they are easy to avoid

Donation isn't a necessity, just a way to get money epic fast, but I don't believe money/gears make the person stronger, just plain experience.

Other than that, erm, Feel free to PM me in game if you ever need a High Priest/High Priestess trailing you /ok

Wow that was fast, thanks everyone!

I just finished healing up my old PC and its ready for action. The full client is downloading now, maybe I'll get an hour in before I pass out :).

EDIT: Not liking the download speed, I think its on your end 20MPS shouldn't take 3hrs to download 1.5gigs... I wannnna play.

So it turns out I just waited 4 and a half hours for,

"Setup files are corrupted. Please obtain a new copy of the program."

Now it's 2 o' clock in the morning and this sucks. Please fix...

Like Kiba said in your other thread, there's no fix, you'll have to redownload the installer again.
