Title: Regarding leeching a character?

Would it be faster to leech a char. if it stay as a novice

like say leeching a novice till 99 or leeching a novice that turned into archer and then hunter ..

would it be faster to leech if it stays as a novice.. ???

Not really, no. Since base level is independent of jobs, you don't really have much of a difference how you leech them.

There is an exception though, as the 1st job Beginner Weapons have an Exp modifier to them. If you're intent on leeching as fast as possible, do it with a 1st job unless you're trying to make a supernovice, which probably has its own Beginner weapon, I wouldn't know.

The only character that levels faster, I believe, are Super Novices, but then you wouldn't be able to transcend(?), which I assume is what you aim to do.

Correct, though that chart at the bottom is for job levels. Though I imagine trying to get to 99/99 on a Super Novice must be dificult on their own. @_@ Well, on official servers anyway..

wait wouldn't it better if you change job to 1st class n leech? since they have the beginner weapon which adds 20% exp till 80 n 10% till 95?

if u leech a novice or a 1st class char i think it would take longer then leeching the novice, change to 1st class, leech, then change to 2nd class.
Cause once u get to 99, ull still have all the jlvls to go. If u do it the way i mentioned ull get all the jlvls before u hit 99.

start from 95? since the beginner weapon still give 10% extra exp... unless u're using quad drac or 2x quad drac.  ;D

Basically what I said in the first place yes. Moonglaze picked up on it pretty easy =)

And really, job levels mean petty squat compared to getting from 98-99 as a non-trans, trust me.

Trans takes the ballgame differently though. You might be inclined to care about job experience that time around.

DG leech/LVLing FTW! yeah jobs as trans are going to be the challenge once you trans. but if you do GD.... most of my trans have gotten to job lvl 70 way before 99 in DG... my champ got there to job 70 base 95. good luck lvling BK.
