Trying turning NC off and restarting your client completely. :>
just tried that - it's one step better in that if I move my character the second one WILL follow, but as soon as the second one gets close it stops following and the little arrow above the first goes away ):

Try putting the follower on the second client you open, and the leader on the first client.

You have it set to M for mini, when it should be set to W for wombo.
