When i try to move/run/delete/do anything with the anthem full installer, my computer simply wont perform the operation. The file stays put and doesnt open

You might have to wait a bit, it's a 1gig+ file. Click it then go make a cup of tea or somthing.

windows XP pro intel core 2 6600 2.4ghz 2gig corsair ram
installer is right off of the website, downloaded yesterday.

If waiting, as Teggit suggested, doesn't help, open the task manager (CTRL+ALT+DEL or otherwise, e.g. by right clicking on your task bar) and make sure that the installer only appears ONCE in the list of running processes. If it appears twice or more, end all those installer tasks, and move the file somewhere else (you should be able to move the installer to a different location, right? After all, it's "just" a file), then start it again.
