It also has a slight drop in atk power I think. So your damage will be lower and class limitations. Other than that I don't think there is a difference but your better off with the DBSS mace

Actually Axes have 1 ATK more than Maces, also the ASPD modifier for axes is slightly lower than on Maces.

and if i remember correctly axes only do 100% damage to large where maces do 100% to large and medium

That doesn't matter.
I would wait for socket enchant and slot in overup orcish axe[4]

I say DBSS it's better and after u done niffing or u feel like u dont want to no more, u can always sell to others and it would sell faster and more ppl would want it more than axe
