Why Tome of Ymir, have Strip Shield? I consider it a lame skill.
Reassons:
1. Nonone Strip Monsters.
2. It is for PvP
3. Useless if someone have Full Quemica Protection
4. How it help on Leveling?
5. Once again, is for a fucking PvP cause. I dont Pvp.

Post ther things if this isnt the only reasson that skill sux.

SQIs are made for PvP/WoE purposes... Sage/Professor have no skill whatsoever that can hurt people wearing GTB, so they gave Tome Strip Shield so you can attempt to strip you enemy and actually have a chance to kill it. SQIs are made to be powerful anywhere, but their main target is PvP/WoE... what's the use of a SQI that will make you strong if you can't bypass 1 single equip as it is a GTB shield? High Wizards have magic crasher at least... that's not a great skill but its something they can attack with. I believe Gravitation field bypasses GTB as well... (as for non trans wizards... i guess they do have a bad time with gtb users)

Just because you don't PvP doesn't make it a lame skill, just forget about having this skill then. /ho

I am sure most Scholars/Sages out there find it useful.  :police:

well, i gues SQI must be maded for traveling the RO World., well, 15% defence reduction, thats....0 comment. How about...giving it something useful to level up =/. I had been profe for more than a year, and i really dont see a really good use of that skill....

even SQI is designed for PvP/WOE, it still give huge impact to PvM scene..if you don't like it, just ignore it..
strip shield just one extra skill anyway..if you want fully utilize the usage of your tome, go PvP/WOE

lols, switch to High wizard, go against a GTB user in WOE and then try to pawn then !!
then u will understand, how cool u can do with tome in a scholar !

for pvm:
-gives you IC and lets you wear defensive gears
-gives you a shitload of crit letting you go melee prof. You can kill one anubis in less than 5 seconds in autocast/crit build.
- alsgnbbsdfast waterball with DDdr weapon
-range redux

I dont find this fair though, causr there are quite a few ppl that just cant make woe. Why should they get the short end of the stick?
