That's not bad for a private server! A low rate at that. Hi Animus ro-ers. I'm new to the server! I can't wait to start playing in a bit! Add me? Well I didn't make my ign yet but I'll edit this post! Can't wait! :]

Thanks a lot, Roon! I think I came to play at a great time! I saw some items that I never seen before in this game and items that are custom. It seems I have a lot to get used to. Can you explain more about these coins? Do we trade them in for headgears and such?

Try not to double post XD just use the "modify" button next to your post.
there's a variety of prizes, the most sought after being BBs (bloody branches, which spawn MvPs), and the pets :D when you log in, just head over to the guys in Alberta (near the big ship on the map). Talk to them and they'll explain everything :3
Also, you should know that aRO offers newbie weapons. Sell the cloth and dagger, or something close to that, that you get on your new character and buy the newbie equipment from the novice NPC (found near spawn point of Alberta). They're great starting weapons, you can take them straight to payon dungeon and get your first 20-30 lvls there more easily than if you job change right away /ok
If you have any other questions as you go along just post them and someone or another will explain, we have a "general questions" and "game mechanics" section to make those types of threads in, or you can ask someone in-game

The coins are part of the Halloween/Fall event going on right now. You can trade them in for all sorts of stuff in Alberta, by the docks.
Double posting is frowned upon in the forums, use the (http://www.animusro.com/forums/Themes/babylon/images/english/modify.gif) button.
Payon dungeon is great for leveling a new character, you might want to try getting the newbie weapon for your class, if you haven't already. Warning - while you were typing a new reply has been posted. You may wish to review your post. (http://rageguy.com/media/2010/07/rageguy_face.png)

I have to do my homework right now /sob (but the fact that I'm here says a lot about how well that's going >_> ). At the very least I gotta keep myself from logging in. I'm sure you'll find plenty of other helpful people to hang out with though :3 we have a very nice community here, excusing the few oddballs

Just a note. You get a custom weapon if you the job quest for your 1st class (Swordsman, Archer, etc.). GMs have plans on making custom weapons for 2nd classes in the future.

What the helll is the point of BG weapons then? :< I think the GMs should improve the current BG system. By playing BG, ppl can acquire better weapons / gear.

Apart from medals of honor the rest is strictly for PVP ,No one would wear a set that gets you 3x damage from everything non demi human :( Although you could wear the armor,Boots and garment as a knight and farm High orcs.
But Bg Gear > Current newbie gears.It should stay that way.

razer is one of MotE's finest members(but all of them are already Animu's finest) and one of the good players in AnimaRO too.
Kaoru get stronger,richer and better as fast as you can..while doing than join my social guild:
Animus Academy, its fun and it has everything (oh you might notice that its not on guild recruitment section, it is because my members are all exclusively invited by me and therefore there are no random people that will mock around to make u feel down and out of place) /no1 /go

Wont argue with you about Razer, he is one of the best players in the server, and his guides are pretty good. But as for ALL of MotE being the finest? No. Although there are a fair amount of good players in there, there are plenty of people from other guilds who come in that category.

you can just post and ask the question XD let them know what lvl you are, and that you're interested in donating to get some starting equipment and they'll guide you.
