Title: Emperium considered?
Post by: exDragon on September 23, 2010, 10:20:53 am
Is it considered just a regular monster that is MVP status(but doesn't give MVP sign), angel, small, no drops, doesn't attack and doesn't move but only spawn during certain times yet its is auto killed at a certain time?  How it is killed determines what it should do with the WoE castle or is it considered special in any way in how it is considered?

MAGIC

it spawns at the start of woe, it de-spawns at the end, because nobody can kill the emp in the castle, triggering the change of ownership.

How it's killed doesn't matter, whoever gets the last hit that does damage to the emp, gains ownership of the castle for their guild.  Coding reads who's in the castle and isn't in the guild, and force respawns them (including allies).

What I'm trying to say is it just considered a regular monster with all those details about it or is it not just considered a regular monster and something is different about it.

That's why I linked you to the RMS, it details you what kind of monster it is.

I know it acts like a monster but in code is it actually a monster or is it something more.  Basically could you replace an Emperium with a poring and everything code wise would work correctly?  Is it possible to put special damage modifiers on emperium only?
