Title: Hi, I'm new at low rate servers and questions.

Well, I'm going to just start AnimusRO and I was wondering what class to pick. I've usually played some of the higher rate servers, x50 - x10000 and when playing high rate servers with huge drop rate changes, some classes are bound to be worse than others. In all my time, I've never played an alchemist/creator because in high rate servers, the homunculus usually fails compared to godly equips and 1000 stats.
I'm just wondering if they were good in this server as mainly a Pvper. Also, are they expensive to support and how do they use their skills and does anyone have any guides?
If they aren't good in this server, what are some good pvpers? I was also look at professors cause I thought they looked interesting.

Creator is really valuable on this server because of Acid Demonstration. So yeah, they're definitely desirable in pvp/woe. Classes are fairly balanced on this server.. each one has a strong point that gives it an advantage over other classes. So you can pretty much pick anything you want and if you know how to use it, it can do well in PvP /ok

Not reaaaally.  With high end gears it goes sorta like this.

Paladin, Champion
Lord Knight, Proffessor, Assassin Cross, Biochemist, High Priest, Sniper, Super Novice (If fully geared)
Stalker, Clown, Gypsy, Whitesmith
Gunslinger, Ninja, Soul Linker, Star Gladiator

It's a bit off but, I don't really pvp much anymore, so yeah...

While AD is great and all, bio eats up money fast so I wouldn't really recommend that for a new player.

Same, I'd suggest The melee or Champs, I've seen most of these types in PvP as of late.

Thanks a lot for the info guys but if I do want to make a biochemist, would going pure AD be good or a battle bio be better? Maybe a hybrid?

I'm probably aiming for MVPing / training with friends but I guess I also need PVP cause after trans + 99, there's nothing better to do.

really depends what you wanna do! MvP or PvP bio's usually just focus on ADing. I'm not sure when battle bio is handy :O (I assume with mobbing?)

If you want an all around class go Sniper,LK or Sinx.

A nice class to start with which allows you to level up easy with little gears is Crusader or a Knight.  On a similar note, Rogues are good too, if you're more into farming.  Once you are higher leveled and are making decent money, you will be able to explore pvp as a spectator and get a general feeling of which classes are better than others, etc.

I think Combo summed it up pretty well, although I'd add LK to the top list as LKs are pretty good too.

So I think mine would look like:

LK, Champ, Pally
Sniper, Prof, Sinx, Stalker
and the rest here.

That list is considering all classes are well geared and their user has some common sense as far as what he/she is doing.

Just put High Wizard down to where the Whitesmith tier is.  Gtb/Mdef fucks the average High Wizards over.
